In the IDW continuity, Zoo Amsterdam is a major city in a parallel dimension visited by Michelangelo and Peter Venkman in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters 2. It is an alternate version of New York City in a world where all sapient inhabitants are anthropomorphic animals. Zoo Amsterdam is home of the Ghostbusturtles, who are alternate turtle versions of New York City's human Ghostbusters. According to Ghostbusturtle Dan Welker, "Zoo Amsterdam" is also the name of the county and state in which their city is located.
