Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids. |
Zog was a Triceraton commando who had been left behind on Earth following the accidental transportation of three of his species to the planet via Transmat. Years later, he came across Raphael, who took advantage of Zog's mental state after living so long on a planet which had air which was toxic to him, to pretend to be his superior officer. Raph, along with the other Turtles, led Zog into combat against the Foot Clan, where he perished.
Many years after this, Donatello found an air car that Zog had been working on prior to his death. He completed the car, and it became the Turtles' primary mode of transportation throughout the series.

- As at the time of its writing, Image's volume 3 run was considered canon to Mirage's continuity, it can be assumed that all of this Zog's basic history is identical to his Mirage counterpart unless specifically stated otherwise, barring events which were written after the Image comics were removed from continuity (such as Tales of the TMNT #70).
