[Opening sequence and theme song.]

[Open on a bright, New York City skyline. Pan down to the Turtle Lair, where three of the Turtles are watching television. Michelangelo, wearing a trenchcoat, arrives.]

Michelangelo "Check it out, amigos. The latest issue of “Alien Invaders.”"

Raphael "Yeah, that's wonderful news. Now, can we watch “Cube of Misfortune” in peace, please?"

[On the show, a woman lifts a giant cube with the letter “M” emblazoned on it and throws it at a man, knocking him down.]

Donatello "He got hit with an "M"!"

Leonardo "Oh, don't take it! Go for a vowel!"

Michelangelo "By the way, I saw our little bud Zach at the comic book store."

Donatello "Zach? We haven't seen him in a while. What's he doing?"

Michelangelo "Same as me, reading “Alien Invaders” comics."

[Cut to Zach as he walks along the sidewalk with his face buried in a comic. He crosses the street without looking and a truck screeches to a stop to avoid hitting him.]

Zach "Wow!
[Tires screeching as a taxi stops quickly to avoid hitting him.]

This is the best issue
[The taxi driver shouts at him.]

of Alien Invaders yet! “Invasion of the Bug-Eyed Terminators.” Awesome! What?
[He stops to look at something in an alley and sees four men in body suits.]

Oh, no! It's the bug-eyed terminators. They're here.
[He runs to a pay phone.]

I gotta warn somebody.
"

[The phone in the police precinct rings. An officer, who is reading the comic, answers.]

O'Flaherty "Police precinct. Sergeant O'Flaherty speaking."

Zach "The bug-eyed terminators have landed! They've invaded a building at the corner of 5th and Robertson!"

[The startled sergeant falls backwards in his chair.]

O’Flaherty "The terminators? We're on our way, me boy. And you stay away from them.
[He grabs a microphone.]

Attention all units in the area of 5th and Robertson. An alleged invasion of aliens has been reported in the vicinity.
"

[April and Irma are driving through the city in the Channel 6 newsvan.]

April O'Neil "Bug-eyed aliens? Sounds pretty silly to me."

Irma Langenstein "Not to me. You should have seen my date last night."

April "Let's check it out, anyway. There may be a story."

[She steps on the gas and zips around a corner. Meanwhile, a police car comes to a screeching stop in front of the pay phone. Sirens wailing, another stops across the street. Zach points.]

Zach "The aliens are in there!"
