Yoshi is a little boy whose older sister Mitsu is watching over him with her grandfather in the third film. Its unknown what happen to his mother and father. He becomes good friends with Raphael who gives him a yoyo and treats him like a little brother.
He was told by his grandfather to hide the scepter from the Turtles so they would have no choice but to fight Lord Norinaga for the village. Afraid that his new friends might die, he decided to give it to them so they can return home.
It is unknown if based on his name, he has some relation to Hamato Yoshi.
