Yoom is an Utrom scientist who who performed experiments during the Cretaceous period, capturing dinosaurs for study. He was present when his coworker Churk captured Raphael, and was later told by Churk that their captive "warrior lizard" was capable of intelligent communication. Along with the other scientists, he was later captured and tied up by the Turtles, and was eventually freed by the transport team.
He was one of the Utroms who was placed in stasis on Burnow Island, and was later awoken by Professor Honeycutt. He complained about the hard bed and Churk's snoring, before demanding to know what was going on from Technician Leeshawn.
He was then menaced by Leatherhead, but was saved by the intervention of the Turtles.
