Synopsis[]
The Turtles run along some rooftops and Leo talks about the importance for them as ninja to stick to the roofs for stealth, saying that "the higher [they] are, the stronger [their] position." To that end, Mikey suggests a roof race - first one to the highest point wins.
They all reach a rooftop garden and marvel at the splendor, and Leo suddenly is smacked by a vine. The garden belongs to Snakeweed, who is not too pleased to see his old enemies invade his territory. The Turtles fight Snakeweed, and Raph attempts to end the fight relatively easily by crushing him with a container. However, as Don learns, it contained an "enhanced fertilizer concentrate", and when it begins raining shortly thereafter, Snakeweed grows significantly. After Raph points out that they're fighting a "tree" during a lightning storm, Don and Leo realize that a tree is one of the worst places to be during a storm, and Don says they can get a bolt to strike Snakeweed, but they need to be much higher. Mike declares a continued roof race, this time with Snakeweed in pursuit.
After the Turtles reach the highest point they can make on their own, Don says they need to continue scaling higher. He borrows one of Raph's sai and ties it to one of Snakeweed's severed vines, using it as a grappling hook to climb to a much higher roof. Once on the roof, they throw down all their weapons. Snakeweed thinks they have made a stupid error and picks up all their weapons to attack them with, but the metal in them attracts a lightning bolt and he is fried into ash. Mikey declares a "reverse roof race" to reach the street first, and after they leave, a single vine is seen sprouting from the ashes.
