In the IDW continuity, Wenceslaus is a mutant rabbit who plays drums in the all-mutant band After the Bomb. He is the sole male member of the band. He is first seen entering the Kennel Klub at the very end of TMNT #104 and at work on the drums in TMNT #105.
Trivia
- Wenceslaus was named in a community brainstorming session by Steven W. Hunt in a Picarto livestream hosted by Sophie Campbell. He is named after Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia, who is also the topic of the song Good King Wenceslas.
- Both Sophie Campbell and Brahm Revel simultaneously developed mutant rabbit drummer characters who played at the Kennel Klub (the other being Vincent), but they are different characters with different appearances, who drum for different bands.
