Some TMNT stuff really isn't for little kids.

The Warriors of Perfect Virtue are a violent, zealous religious cult appearing throughout volume 4 of the Mirage continuity. They hail from a universe other than the standard Mirage one, and move across the multiverse, killing and conquering anyone who does not adhere to their religious tenets - which seems to be literally everybody. They especially have a grudge against the Foot Clan, who printed spellbooks that they did not agree with, and Oroku Yoshi.

The Warriors of Perfect Virtue appear masculine by the most common standards, but lack genitalia and are biologically genderless - they find the very concept of gender to be a sin, and they reproduce asexually.

The Warriors are dressed in pantomime of ancient prehispanic Mesoamerican cultures, and carry carbon fiber macuahuitl. When they score a kill, they place a triangular object on the body.

When Karai was showing Leonardo the personal effects of one the Foot had killed, there was an American penny with the portrait of "President Gore", although whether this came from their universe or was a trophy they secured from another one is unknown.

History[]

The first Warrior of Perfect Virtue in the comic debuted at the end of TMNT #11, volume 4, where they chased and slaughtered a group of Foot Ninja. Eventually, the Foot managed to kill one of them by ambushing them with a machine gun. Karai had her scientists examine the body and their belongings, showing their peculiarities to Leonardo afterward. Karai asked for Leo's help in fighting them, and he squared off against one, Three Moon Jaguar. They defeated and captured them alive, but could not get any straight answers out of them before they killed themselves.

Leonardo would come across three more members in TMNT #29, when they walk through the Battle Nexus and spot Oroku Yoshi, picking a fight with him. Gyoji, the Battle Nexus proctor, appears and stops them, citing that no fights may take place in dining establishments and that both parties must be willing to combat.
