Summary[]

Open on a remote, uninhabited fiord in Northern Norway. Suddenly, the Technodrome arrives and the ramp opens so that Krang, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady can disembark. Krang complains that the journey was long and uncomfortable, which Shredder explains is because the lack of power means the trans-dimensional portal doesn’t always work well. Brushing that off, Krang tells them to observe their new temporary operations base. Bebop complains that the place is colder than New York, and then he and Rocksteady manage to slip and fall down. Krang baps them both on the head with a stick for being clumsy and then asks Shredder why they put up with the dimwits.

Shredder replies that it’s because Krang likes to have someone to hit. He then suggests that Krang tell them their purpose in Norway. Krang begins to tell a story that occurred many years ago of a cargo ship holed up in a storm, that took shelter in this very fiord. Shredder picks up the story by saying that attempts to keep the vessel afloat failed and the crew abandoned ship just seconds before it plunged to the bottom of the fiord. The ship was carrying a cargo of top secret weapons. Krang adds that once salvaged, the weapons will bring supreme power within the reach of his tentacles. Shredder then pushes Bebop and Rocksteady to get them moving on setting up salvage operations.

A few weeks later there are two salvage ships operating in the fiord, manned by Bebop, Rocksteady and a contingent of Footbots. On the shore, Krang and Shredder supervise the work. Suddenly, an elderly man appears on the ledge above them, calling out that he brings them a terrible warning. Though they don’t know how he got up there, Krang doesn’t care and shouts to the man to clear off or else. The old man replies that the fiord is the last resting place of Alfred the Viking and legend says that if the fiord is disturbed, Alfred will return from the sea to take his revenge. Both Krang and Shredder think the cold has affected the old man’s mind. The old man vanishes as abruptly as he appeared, unnerving both villains.

Bebop and Rocksteady have also heard the old man’s warning and frightened, jump back. They manage to knock two Footbots overboard, much to Shredder’s annoyance. He yells at them to go back to salvaging at once. Time passes, and then Rocksteady calls out to Krang that they are ready to begin raising the cargo ship. Krang tells them to start and Rocksteady complains that it would be done sooner if their two bosses helped. Then the two mutants spot something that scares them, and Krang wonders what’s up with them. Shredder tells him to look out to sea – because a {Fleetwaylink|Viking longship}} is headed their way.

Completely spooked, Bebop and Rocksteady leap off their salvage ship. Krang calls them idiots because they’re going to freeze for nothing, because he’s seen that the Viking warriors are green. The longship is manned by the Turtles. As Bebop and Rocksteady crawl ashore, Shredder shouts at the Turtles, demanding to know what they are doing there. Leonardo tells him they got wind of their plans and decided to stop them. A local wildlife photographer spotted the Technodrome soon after its arrival. She took pictures and April O'Neil saw them, and in turn told the Turtles.

Raphael picks up the story, explaining that Donatello had the idea of constructing a Viking longship and built it in record time. Michaelangelo adds that Splinter had the idea of the Alfred the Viking story. He dressed up like the old man to relay the fake legend. Donatello says that he used the Turtle Glider to drop Splinter off unseen. Krang tells them their plan is doomed to failure and directs their attention to the oncoming Footbot Task Force. It consists of attack helicopters and torpedo boats. One of the helicopters opens fire on the longship, but the Turtles put it into high gear and zip away, making Krang call them cheats for having an engine. It also turns out that the Turtles’ longship is also armor plated and armed with mines. The Turtles drop the mines and quickly destroy two torpedo boats.

When a helicopter comes in close, the Turtles activate their remote control gatling gun and blow it out of the sky. The helicopter crashes into another of the torpedo boats and then as a helicopter flies over the Turtles, it is destroyed by dragon eye lasers fired from the figurehead on the front of the longship. With only one torpedo boat left, the Turtles fire an anti-ship missile and blow it up. The Turtles then turn their attention to the pair of salvage ships. They ram both ships, cutting them in half with their Viking longship.

Krang calls for a retreat back into the Technodrome. The Turtles open fire with their numerous weapons, but barely damage the Technodrome, which then returns fire. The longship can’t withstand the Technodrome’s advanced weapons and begins sinking. Michaelangelo calls out to quickly fire a missile above the Techndrome, which they do. The missile hits the side of the mountain just behind the Technodrome and a gloating Krang calls them rotten shots. However, the shot proves to have hit the correct mark because the missile causes an avalanche. It strikes the Technodrome and it is carried into the sea before the portal can be activated to save them.

The Turtles are forced to abandon ship into the cold water, but are not there for long. Splinter arrives in the Turtle Blimp and rescues his sons. He then suggests a visit to the local Scandinavian pizza takeway, an idea all of the Turtles approve. Meanwhile, in the gloomy depths of the fiord, the Technodrome lies on its side, powerless. Shredder says they can’t use the portal until they re-activate the power system. Krang notes that worse still, the Technodrome landed on the cargo ship and crushed it. Bebop and Rocksteady complain that they have no heat and Krang tells them to stop complaining because this was all their fault.
