[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Open in Venice on Gondolas being piloted by Gondoliers along the canals. The Turtles are in a Gondola enjoying pizza, except for Donatello, who is piloting the boat]
Raphael "Hmph. Are we having fun yet?"
Donatello "Get with it, Raphael. Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world."
[Water splashes up and hits Raphael in the face.]
Raphael "Blech. Not to mention the wettest."
Michelangelo "Face it, dude. This burg is just not happening."
Donatello "But, guys, this place is rich in history."
Leonardo "I don't know about you, but my ninja moves are feeling rusty. Hi-ya!"
[He leaps up and performs a flip in the boat. When he lands, the boat begins to rock violently.]
Turtles "Whoa! Hey! Watch it, dude."
Raphael "Sit down, Leonardo. You're rocking the boat."
[The rocking causes Donatello to lose his balance and he falls off the end of the boat. He clings to the oar, which sticks straight up.]
Donatello "Whoa-oh! Uh, hey! Wait up! Guys!"
[He falls into the water and starts swimming.]
Michelangelo "Oh, Donatello, keep steering in the same direction. I smell pizza."
[Cut to Dimension X. Standing outside the Technodrome, Krang and Shredder watch Foot Soldiers march past. They are all in some state of disrepair.]
Krang "Everything on this dilapidated piece of space junk needs repairs."
[The pair walk back towards the Technodrome and a Foot Soldier goes to salute them, but its arm flies off. Krang uses the lever to open the hatch, but the lever snaps in half. He uses his android body to kick the hatch, which drops open and then shatters.]
Shredder "Lucky for us, we bought that extended warranty."
Krang "I want off this crummy asteroid. I hate it here. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
Ooh. I must turn my Foot Soldiers into an unbeatable army of computerized warriors. All I need are, mm, several billion new parts."
[He has a temper tantrum, pounding on the Technodrome’s hull and causing more damage. Inside, he paces.]

Shredder "And how do you plan to pay for that? It will cost a fortune."
[Krang activates the monitor.]
Krang "This is where the money will come from. Venice, Italy."
Shredder "Is that palace trimmed in what I think it is?"
Krang "Yes. Solid gold. And it's filled with art masterpieces worth a fortune."
Shredder "Did you say "Venice"? Isn't that where we last tracked the Ninja Turtles?"
Krang "Precisely. I plan to double my pleasure and double my fun."
Shredder "How, by chewing gum?"
Krang "No, you tin-faced twerp. By capturing the treasures of Venice, I can hold them for ransom and get revenge on those wretched Turtles all at the same time."
[Back on the Venice canals, the Turtles gondola continues on its way.]
Michelangelo "Whoa. Donatello's doing an awesome job steering us through this busy canal."
Raphael "Hey, Donatello, why don't you watch where you're--? Donatello?
Donatello?!"
[They realize he’s not in the boat.]
Donatello?!"
[Donatello frantically swims towards the gondola.]
Donatello "Hey, could you guys wait up?"
[Raphael helps him back into the gondola.]
Raphael "I don't know a lot about gondoliering, but most of those guys stay inside the boat."
[Cut to an apartment building in Paris.]
April O'Neil "Oh, and I just adore my Paris apartment, chief.
It is, how you say, très élégant."
[Using a French accent.]

Burne Thompson "Well, forget the French and start learning Italian. I'm sending you to Venice, Italy for a few days."
April "Venice? What's the story?"
Thompson "The big Mardi Gras and regatta starts tomorrow. You know the kind of stuff we need. Local color, costumes, festooned gondolas."
April "What an idea. An April O'Neil exclusive from Venice. The city of poetry, art and—"
[Irma snatches the phone from Thompson.]
Irma Langenstein "Romance. Tall, dark, handsome Italian men. Pasta, more Italian men. More pasta, more—"
[Thompson wrestles the phone away from her.]
Thompson "Give me that."
Irma "Tell her the best part, Mr. T."
Thompson "I know I'm going to regret this. Vernon thinks he'll get seasick in a gondola. So, I'm sending Irma to be your assistant."
April "Great. Oh, I'm crazy about this foreign assignment. I can't believe I'm actually being paid to do this."
Thompson "If you're insulted by the money—"
April "Only kidding."
[Back to the Turtles, who are descending stairs into the Venice sewers.]
Michelangelo "I'm thinking of writing a book. "A Down and Dirty Look at the Sewers of the World". What do you think?"
Leonardo "Catchy title."
[Donatello’s Turtlecom chirps.]
Donatello "The Turtlecom. Donatello here."
April "Great news, Turtles. I'll be in Venice tomorrow to cover the Mardi Gras for Channel 6."
Donatello "Mardi Gras?"
April "You know, costumes, masks, and carnivals."
Michelangelo "Totally tubular, dudes. It's party time."
[In the Technodrome, Krang is showing off a new device.]
Krang "This I proudly call the Hydrofluxer."
Rocksteady "Oh, it looks real complicated to me."
Krang "Chewing gum looks complicated to you, horn-head. Now, pay attention to my plan. This Hydrofluxer will amplify the gravitational pull of the full moon. Keep your eyes on this ridiculously expensive scale model I had built to demonstrate it. Using its molecular wave intensifier, I will flood Venice. This will force the citizens to evacuate, leaving their gold and treasures for me to plunder."
[The Hydrofluxer pulls water out of the large vat and it spills out over Shredder and his mutant henchmen.]
All "Whoa!"
[All coughing and spluttering.]
Shredder "Brilliant, Krang. Just brilliant."
Krang "Sorry. Sometimes I get carried away with my own genius."
Shredder "You get carried away?"
Bebop "Uh, but what about the Ninja Turtles?"
Krang "Those shellbacks won't know what him them. Now, remember, Shredder, when you arrive in Venice, set up headquarters in the subbasement of the Opera House."
Shredder "When do I leave?"
Krang "Now seems like a good time."
[Krang activates the Trans-Dimensional Portal. It drops Shredder into the water of a canal. He comes up spluttering.]
Shredder "But not necessarily a good place."
[He crawls through a sewer pipe and sees the Turtles walk past.]
Shredder "Turtles. Trapped like sewer rats. I love it."
Donatello "Shredder."
Michelangelo "Uh-oh, dudes. Looks like the party's just about to start."
Leonardo "Did you say something about being bored, Raphael?"
Shredder "Arrivederci, shellbacks."
[Laughing, he cuts open an overhead water pipe which sends a flood straight at the Turtles. They run. The water sends a barrel and crate into the wall, where they smash to pieces.]
Leonardo "Head for the high and dry!"
[The flood washes them into the flowing water of the tunnel.]
Shredder "If you think you'll escape death, you've got water on the brain."
[Still laughing, he climbs back into his pipe. Michelangelo latches on to a wooden board.]
Michelangelo "Stupenduloso, dudes.
Surf's up."
[He uses the board as a surfboard.]
Surf's up."
Leonardo "Great idea, Michelangelo."
[They all follow suit.]
All "Whoa! Cowabunga! Whoo!"
[The surf out of the pipe and safely into a canal.]
Michelangelo "Made it."
[The Turtles surf straight at some decorated gondolas. They split up to surf around them and Donatello leaps over one.]
Donatello "Whoa!"
[The costumed crowd on a bridge cheer their escapades. Those watching include April and Irma. April films them with her mini-camera.]
Irma "Yo, turtles. Up here!"
Leonardo "It's April and Irma."
April "Leave it to the Ninja Turtles to make a grand entrance."
Irma "Hi, guys."
April "This is some celebration, huh?"
Donatello "It was, until Tin Grin showed up."
April "Shredder? What's he doing here in Venice?"
Leonardo "I don't know, but I've got a feeling we'll soon find out."
