The United States Army makes a number of appearances throughout Mirage continuity.
In You're in the Army Now, Donatello and Leonardo fall asleep on a bus and accidentally end up at Fort Dix in New Jersey and are forced into basic training. They excel due to their ninja training, and are assigned guard duty at an ammo dump. They foil the terrorists who attempt to break in, and are commended for it. When the Turtles' family receives a letter from them explaining where they are, April O'Neil travels to Jersey to beseech their release, and upon the Army finding that they didn't actually sign up, Leo and Don are honorably discharged.
The U.S. Army Air Defense headquarters are briefly shown in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles issue 3 (volume 4), as they scramble to defend against an alien invasion (the Utrom arrival).
