Turtlemania (from Lisztomania) is a term refering to the years when the interest for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise peaked, which lasted between 1989 and 1991.

During these years, the popularity of the Fred Wolf Cartoon, the Archie comics, video games and the live-action films spawned major merchandising.[1] and the Ninja Turtles were seen on various things from toys and sweaters to lunchboxes and pizzas. During these years, the TMNT also began to receive international success.

The TMNT would then remain in major popularity until mid-1993.[2]
