The Turtlebot was a giant mecha created by Donatello for training purposes. Appearing in the Mirage Comic Men of Shadow, Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo battle the Turtlebot while Donatello pilots it; the onboard computer malfunctions, however, and Donatello has to be rescued from it by his brothers.
The Turtles use the Turtlebot later in the story as transport, with Don piloting it and the other Turtles, along with Splinter and Casey Jones, riding on its outside. Unfortunately, the Turtlebot is attacked and swallowed by the massive monster Dagon, and although Donatello escapes, the robot is lost forever.
