The Turtle Van is the Ninja Turtles' main mode of transportation in Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles drove it from New York City to Gotham City, though they did not use it through most of their stay.
The Turtle Van had been augmented extensively by Donatello, including a powerful engine, a visor that covered the windshield, a deflective structure on the back of the roof, launching points for two motorcycles, and a weapons platform that could be used to fire manhole covers.
The Turtles used the vehicle on their final attack on Ace Chemicals, where Ra's al Ghul and Shredder were preparing to launch a mutagen-disseminating device over Gotham. While Robin expressed disbelief that the Turtles rode around in such a ramshackle vehicle, the Turtle Van proved to be powerful enough to break through the front gates of Ace Chemicals, survive attacks by explosive arrows and a rocket, and smash through a solid wall.
On its way into Ace Chemicals, the Turtle Van suffered a considerable amount of damage from the attacks by both human and mutated Foot Clan and League of Assassins ninja. However, the damage was not extensive enough to keep it from driving from the building as it exploded, and the Turtles intended to return home in it shortly afterwards.
- This iteration of the Turtle Van strongly resembles its counterpart from the 1987 show, but lacks the blasters and catapult featured on that vehicle.
- Unlike previous versions of the Turtle Van, which have been built with VW buses, this iteration of the Turtle Van was apparently built with an RV.
