Plot[]
Splinter shows his young sons in his bedroom the weapons that he is gifting them. As he begins to tell them about their clan, he hears an episode of Soapy Treadmill begin to play. He then instructs his sons to leave the weaponry alone until he returns and dashes to the TV room.
Raphael prompts his brothers to consider "what would Lou Jitsu do?" (W-W-L-J-D) and they, believing it is the course of action Lou Jitsu would take, choose to play around with their weapons, but due to their lack of experience, they injure themselves and one another.
With Soapy Treadmill on a two minute commercial break, Splinter reenters the bedroom, and is angered to see that his sons have disobeyed him. But when Leonardo points out that Splinter has been eating their Hallowe'en candy without their permission, Splinter concludes that his own lack of responsibility caused the situation. He begins to reflect on his actions, only to run back to the TV room once the commercial break ends.
Having not understood the danger of the situation, the Turtles pick up their weapons again. Raph then proposes they initiate a game of "Hero and Villain" and Donatello assigns Leo as the villain, much to his horror.
Trivia[]
- An award reminiscent of an Emmy can be seen on one of Splinter's bedroom wall shelves.
