The Turtle Tank is the Mad Dogs' main mode of transportation in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Overview[]
The Turtle Tank is equipped with a bowling ball launcher, harpoon hooks, periscope, a cannon, a soft serve ice cream machine, and stores two of the Shell Hogs, and a flying taxi cab placed on the roof. It also utilizes exterior shields which report the percentage of damage they have sustained to a monitor on the tank's dashboard.
History[]
The Turtle Tank was originally the Jupiter Jim Moon Buggy before its modification. The Turtle Tank seen in the opening sequence of the series, but made its proper debut in the "The Fast and the Furriest".
Trivia[]
- Donnie holds affection for the Turtle Tank, calling it his "masterpiece", "brainchild", and "baby" and is protective of it as seen in "Warren & Hypno, Sitting in a Tree" and "Turtle-dega Nights: The Ballad of Rat Man".
- The Turtles occasionally refer to the Turtle Tank as "she" ("The Fast and the Furriest", "Turtle-dega Nights: The Ballad of Rat Man").
- Donnie plans to add two more Shell Hogs to allow each Turtle to drive their own as for now they have to share. When asked, he told his brothers in one of his deadpan comments, that they'll come out over the holiday season, "so that you'll know they're special."
