The Turtle Racer is the old O'Neil family truck customized by Casey Jones and Donatello, it first appeared in Within the Woods, but only in Race with the Demon they get it to work. The turtles towed it with them to New York City in Return to New York.
The vehicle uses Kraang technology from the Kraang Stealth Ship, buried under the O'Neil Farm, and Dr. Cluckingsworth as its navigator.
Trivia[]
- The tires on the Turtle Racer reads "Good Enough Tires", as reference to Goodyear tires.
- The head of the Turtle Racer's lever highly resembles a Madball, a line of gross out monster toy balls from the mid 1980's.
- The Cage that Dr. Cluckingsworth is in bears a slight resemblance to R2D2 from Star Wars.
- Ironic in that the R2 units from the Star Wars franchise serve as a fighter Pilot's assisted A.I. inside of their individual ships. Dr. Cluckingsworth serves as the Turtle Racer's A.I. and communicates with Casey via a Wi-Fi link from a laptop to an old Speak & Spell toy from Texas Instruments.
- The Turtle Racer resembles the Hot Wheels' Bone Shaker, with it's black body, silver front, opened top, and flames painted on the sides.
