The Turtle Lair is the home of the Hero Turtles and their rat master/father Splinter. It is located in the Sewers of New York City. There are several entries into the lair, one of which is a door from the tunnel system. The primary living area has a long, red couch, similar to the one seen in the lair from the 1987 TV series. There is also a red easy chair, rugs, and a television set. There are also some packing crates pushed up against the walls. Off to one side is a round table where meals are eaten.
History[]
During the introduction of Hamato Yoshi and the Turtles, where they are mutated, it is mentioned that they are in the sewers of Manhattan. Though the lair is supposed to be in a secret location, Shredder is aware enough of where to find the Turtles that he is able to have Bebop and Rocksteady install a spy camera. Part of the lair is flooded when Bebop and Rocksteady open the grate to sewer two. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Introduction
After returning from a trip to Florida, Leonardo decides to fix up the lair. He first tries making paintings of his family members, but they don't turn out well. Instead, he turns to simply painting the walls. Holiday in Florida!
