The Turtle Capsule is a watercraft utilized by the Ninja Turtles in the Saturday Morning Adventures comics. It was built by Donatello and has the ability to shrink in size, thereby also shrinking anything riding inside. It is an enclosed craft with a Turtle design similar to the Turtle Van. The undercarriage has four attached skis.
History[]
After running some errands in the city, Splinter and Michelangelo come across a strange device in the sewers. When Splinter approaches it, the device opens and sprays him, causing him to pass out. Mikey takes Splinter and the device back to the lair, where Donatello determines that it was created by Baxter Stockman. As his sensei grows weaker, Don investigates and discovers Splinter is being attacked from the inside by microscopic mousers.
Mikey suggests shrinking themselves and to the other Turtles surprise, Don agrees. To accomplish this, the Turtles enter the Turtle Capsule, which can shrink to a small enough size for them to enter Splinter's bloodstream. During the ride though, the Capsule is attacked by Splinter's white blood cells which causes the propulsion unit to stop working. Don works on repairing it while the other Turtles battle the white blood cells, cut doesn't have much luck until another strike against the Capsule gets it running again. After effectively dealing with the micro mousers, the Turtles head back out towards Splinter's left nostril. However, the Capsule is attacked by white blood cells, which eat through the back of the craft and grab Mikey. April uses a feather to make Splinter sneeze, which expels the Capsule quickly and allows Don to use the growth ray to bring everything back to normal size. Big Trouble in Master Splinter!
