Triceratops was a genus of three-horned, quadrupedal herbivore dinosaurs that existed during the late Maastrichtian stage of Earth's Cretaceous period. It is one of the most well-known type of dinosaur in public consciousness, and thus has seen many appearances in media, including TMNT.
Most notably, the alien species known as Triceratons resemble anthropomorphic triceratops.

- The Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Original Vol. 1 Series, Treasury Edition version of this story has a frontispiece depicting the elderly turtles riding a triceratops
1987 TV series[]
- In the episode "Leonardo is Missing", Leo meets up with three anthropomorphic evolved dinosaurs, one of which is a triceratops.
TMHT (Fleetway)[]
- A Triceratops makes a cameo appearance when the Turtles travel back in time in Egyptian Escapade.
2003 TV series[]
- The Turtles befriend a triceratops in the episode "Return of Savanti, Part 1" that Michelangelo names "Zog" after their fallen Triceraton comrade. They later name another dinosaur similarly, calling him Zog II, but that one was a styracosaurus.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward[]
- A triceratops arrives through a portal in the episode "Timing is Everything". A Triceraton postal worker sees them and flashes a double thumbs-up.
2012 TV series[]
- Leonardo befriends a triceratops in Blast to the Past. Its design is made to evoke the Dingy Dino.
Super Brawl 4[]
- The Pink Ranger's finishing move involves summoning a pink, cartoony triceratops which bites the opponent when the Space Bar is pressed.
