Triceratons are an alien race that resemble humanoid versions of Earth's Triceratops. They are a warrior species who hold fighters in high regard. The greatest entertainment on the Homeworlds are gladiator-type battles held in the Tri-Sports Arena.
History[]
After a major battle between the forces of good and evil on Eternia goes horribly wrong, Renet, an unseen spectator, urges her Time Scepter to take her elsewhere. She is not specific, so the scepter drops her into a prison cell on the Triceraton Homeworlds. Renet discovers that the Turtles are in the cell next to her and she realizes this has occurred before the events on Eternia. Relieved, she attempts to get her scepter to transport them all away, but before she can, the Turtles are taken to the Tri-Sports Arena, where they are pitted against the Triceraton All-Star Team. Unfortunately for Renet, she realizes they are in a time loop when the announcer tells the spectators that He-Man will also be a contestant in the fight. Turtles of Grayskull issue 1
