The Tri-Sports Arena is a gladiator-styled fighting arena located on the Triceraton Homeworlds. The arena is a circular structure with a floor of packed dirt and surrounding walls around ten feet tall. There are two entrances, one of them the primary entrance for combatants. Surrounding the arena are bleachers set in two tiers and multiple sections. Large, manned hover-cameras are positioned to film the action in the arena.

After a major battle between the forces of good and evil on Eternia goes horribly wrong, Renet, an unseen spectator, urges her Time Scepter to take her elsewhere. She is not specific, so the scepter drops her into a prison cell on the Triceraton Homeworlds. Renet discovers that the Turtles are in the cell next to her and she realizes this has occurred before the events on Eternia. Relieved, she attempts to get her scepter to transport them all away, but before she can, the Turtles are taken to the Tri-Sports Arena, where they are pitted against the Triceraton All-Star Team. Unfortunately for Renet, she realizes they are in a time loop when the announcer tells the spectators that He-Man will also be a contestant in the fight. Turtles of Grayskull issue 1
