Tinker Smith was known as the man to go to to make bartering deals on the black market. In part, this is because his "prices" were more fair than anyone else's; he had almost anything anybody could ever want, and mostly what he wanted in exchange was anything that would make his daughter, Tinker 2, happy. April O'Neil was a frequent customer and a friend of Tinker's.
Unfortunately, during the flood that the rebel faction caused to take out Baxter Stockman's tech on Roosevelt Island took out far more than their intended target, as Tinker Senior and most of his wares were caught in the flood, taking his life. Tinker 2 took his place in running the black market "store" but became a little unhinged at losing her father, and blamed April for it. This lead to a tension between the two, although for the right price, she would still do business with April. Lost Day Special
