Synopsis[]
Jennika crashes through the roof of the Kennel Klub, interrupting Bebop and Rocksteady's usurping of the stage. She finds Sheena and encourages her to run with her; the goons and Anchovy angrily follow.
Meanwhile, the baby mutants Tokka and Rahzar absolutely have the advantage over the other Splinter Clan sensei and the older Lita. They attempt to lure them away from where they would do the most damage, but can't think of where would be best to do so. Donatello gets the idea that since Karai is who they call their "mama", she can calm them. Don calls April and has her put Karai on the phone. However, Tokka throws a trash can at him and he loses the phone, which just happens to bounce off the approaching Jenny's head and into Natsu's hands.
They try to get the phone back, but Natsu refuses. Bebop and Rocksteady insist that they can take care of the mutants, and with Anchovy proving weapons and additional muscle, they take to task. They trap the babies down, but they still prove too much for them. Despite Natsu's insistence that they take Tokka and Rahzar alive, Rocksteady pulls out a machine gun and Bebop brings out Roberta, finally turning the tide. Michelangelo worries that it's too much, though.
Lita gets the idea to distract Bebop and Rocksteady by proposing they settle things with a "battle of the bands". Jenny reluctantly steps in and offers her (yet-to-be started) band against the goons the following Friday, while Leonardo recovers the phone from Natsu. Jenny strikes a deal with Bebop and Rocksteady; if her band wins, Bebop and Rocksteady leave Mutant Town and never return, and if the boys win, they get control of the Kennel Club.
Leo tosses the phone to Mikey, and Karai finally gets them to settle down, while Bebop and Rocksteady leave to teach Anchovy to play the drums.
Back at the dōjō, Leo offers Karai and her people as much time as they need to recover (Bebop and Rocksteady excepting), and to find out where the two clans stand with each other. They also discuss building a pen for Tokka and Rahzar, but the baby mutants bust in through the window as Leo tells her they're having trouble completing it.
Jenny mopes about how this band idea is not something she wants to really do, while also being angered at the idea of how it's supposed to be her distraction from killing Karai and sliding down the slippery slope that leads to her becoming a crime lord and the clan breaking up. Koya suddenly barges in and snaps at her and the others, saying that she was once in Jenny's place but learned to accept and harness her darkness and none of the Splinter Clan's woes are any different from hers. The Splinter Clan realizes that they do all have their dark pasts and are capable of using outlets to keep themselves functioning. Jenny finally accepts her destiny and says she knows just who to get for her band.
