  • Yes, I question about Timothy/The Pulverizer/Mutagen Man.

What if he didn't get mutated into Mutagen Man? I honestly think that it would of been good if he didn't. Why you ask? Well don't you think that Timothy's past and character wasn't explained enough despite the fact that he was annoying, stupid, and a interference to the turtles? I think if he stick around longer, he would of been some kind of funny comic relief or/and a running gag.

I also like to know, since he's a teenager, where does he go to school? Did he go to April's school? Did he had friends or had any hobbies? And most importantly, WHERE THE HECK is his parents in all of this!?!? I'm pretty sure any other parent would be worried as a bitch if their child was missing for months!!! At least with April they provided that someone should be watching/being a guardian for her (she's staying with her aunt), but with Timothy, they didn't explain anything like that at all. He's just missing and it seems that no one notices or gives a dam.

I think the reason why the writers didn't include this is because it didn't have anything to do with the main storyline (just like April's living arrangements), but it's still stupid. I feel like that his life should of been more explored. If they wasn't so much in a hurry to mutate him into a mutant, then maybe his life would of been more explored than it was. They could of even made him a mutant in later season OR made someone else the mutagen man, but no. He has to be a insane TMNT fanboy who's annoying, stupid and gets in the turtles way of their missions. And if Donnie doesn't find a cure, then that's all he would be remembered by: An unlikeable teenage boy.

I think Tim could of been a great character (and maybe a funny one) if the writers didn't make him the way he was. I don't know if it was meant to be this way or not, but it still sucks.

    • i to feel sorry for him but i would have expected Donnie to use one of those two doses of retro mutagen for Tim rather than for Splinter. (if one hadn't broken that is)

It'd teach that when people make extremely stupid mistakes, they can expect exetreme harsh consequences.

Yeah, but so was Baxter Stoctman's life, being a stugglining scientist who was recruited by the wrong guy, then turning into a fly, then getting zapped out of phaze with the rest of the world, then almost getting eaten by a Dimention X spider, then getting trapped in a limbo-like dimention and finally escaping only to get retrapped never to be seen again.

Many tragic villains in literature and media started out as normal unfortunate (like 1987 Baxter) or unwise (like Timothy) people.

    • Well I personally hope that Timothy is turned back to a human, or at least becomes an ally again

    • The Kraang might find him and thaw him him out. He might then start working for the Kraang and hunts down the turtles until April convinces him to come to their side.

That or the production company is bad at there job, like most toy production companies that work with shows.

    • Or they could invent a new team.

    • In response to the above question, has anyone thought that Timothy may be an orphan? Or perhaps he was an old enough teenager to be living on his own? It would explain why there was no mention of parents or guardians for him.

I do have to agree that it would be useful to know more about him. His background, other than being a fanboy, is shrouded in mystery. Maybe it will be further explained once the Turtles return to New York. Not right away, but further in the season (which may be season four by then).

For those who remember, there have been other characters that when first introduced had very little revealed about them. In the 2003 series when we first met the Guardians, one of them had met up with Leo and told him that he was a Guardian. Then he proceeded to tell Leo that that was all he could reveal right now. That wasn't even halfway through the first season. It took until the end of the season to finally learn what these guys were all about.

I believe that one of two things will happen in regard to Timothy. Number one, he will never be mentioned again except for when Donnie makes random comments either to him or about him and he will fade into obscurity. Number two, somewhere down the road his character will be revisited and we will learn more about him.

I do too because otherwise it would have been pointless for Donnie's little speech to him when the Turtles fled the lair at the end of season two.
