  • Hey everybody, been a while. Let's get real here, there is NO WAY they did everything they wanted to do in this show. The pressures of Viacom and their writing schedule rushed things to the point where they couldn't bring in everything. And really, there's SO much they can expand upon, what happened to April's mom, and will Pigeon Pete FINALLY pop the question to Dr.Cluckingsworth MD? Here's hoping this show gets the Buffy the Vampire slayer treatment!

    • I'm hoping there is no Season 6 comic.

Like it ot not, the show ended. There are a lot of loose ends I would have liked to have been tied up, but at the same time, even if the show were concluded perfectly, there would always be loose ends.

At this point, it is best to leave the show to the fans.

    • Politely disagree, look at "Batman 66", that takes place after a show made over 50 years ago yet it ROCKS! Expanded universe fiction has its place in the world.

    • I like this idea:} I'd like to see what really happened to April's mom in any case. What else could be followed up?

    • Mutagen Man for sure. You can TELL they wanted to do something with him, but there was just no time I'm assuming.

    • I've got some!

      1. Timothy. We can assume the guy had a family that cared for him, annoying as he was made out to be. We'll never know if Donnie reversed his mutation or not. A comic arc that deals with these questions would be nice.

      2. April's time in the sewers and how she avoided getting kicked out out of school. What about the Aunt she was living with? Not really enough for a story, but explanations are due.

      3. The past version of the group still in space.

      4. April's mom as mentioned above.

    • Also maybe have Donnie and April go on a straight up date. Because there's NO WAY she'd end up with Casey 2K12, the writers implied it time and time again Apritello was endgame.

Secondly, the Hampton Chimera and the Squirrelenoid, those things are STILL out there and are a straight up MENACE!

    • I just wanted a better ending to the series....

THAT is fair, as the ending we got...wasn't one. It was a fun standalone ep...but that was not an ending proper.

    • Yeah. I was a pretty big fan of that series, even if it was pretty terrible. It should have at least had a better ending...

    • Never really found it horrible myself, but we agree on the ending at least. Really this was a show that just couldnt' do everything it wanted to do, and for what its worth I'd say it averages out to a pretty good show at least in my opinion.

    • An actual ending for the show, wouldn't that be something...

    • Personally, I like Owari/Kavaxas just fine as an ending for the main canon timeline.  And the crossover made a fun finale for Tales of the TMNT.  That said, I wouldn't have minded getting more closure on some things:  Timothy, April/Donnie, Leo/Karai, maybe get a glimpse of how the turtles became heroes of legend in the canon timeline.

However, I would not want Ciro involved after the stunt he tried to pull with Mutant Apocalypse. A little off topic, but it looks like he originally wanted to make a movie based on the remains of the Kraang fusing with bacteria in the Hudson River,  resulting in something called "Kraang Primordius" (according to a Q&A session at a screening for the Monster Arc, apparently;  it was on a thread at the Technodrome forum a little while back).  Apparently, Nickelodeon didn't go for it.   Kraang Primordius....Sweet Jesus.

    • ....WHAT?! THAT SOUNDS AWESOME! Okay SEE, SEE, proof that the bigwigs got in the way! NEVER-let your TV show get a toyline folks, they WILL screw with it! LOOK AT THE LAST SEASON OF TRANSFORMERS PRIME! Was there ANY reason to call it Beast Hunters? Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii don't THINK so!

    • I'm only on Season 3 of the show (i'm super behind, forgive me), but damn I hope the ending wasn't that bad. I'm really enjoying the series, even if it has some hiccups here and there (season 3s' tone-shit in comparison to the awesome final arcs in season 2 was rather glaring) but still find the series to be tons of fun.

I really do hope it continues in some capacity, whether it be an extra "season" comic series or just miscellaneous comics. Given what I've seen of Season 5 through trailers and stuff I stumbled upon here, I doubt they had time to finish everything up.

Man, with Adventure Time ending and now my other favorite show ended, I'm going to be without stuff to watch for awhile. Welp.

What, you don't go into something called "Beast Hunters" expecting exciting fossil-chasing with only the occasional robot dragon? Pshaw!

    • Yoshimickster, To each their own :)

      Darkanine,

Don't worry.  Owari and the Kavaxas arc are quite good :) Owari is one of the best episodes in the series, IMHO.  They make a good ending to the main canon storyline.  The official series finale, Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady, is hilarious and a lot of fun.

Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.  Just wish that certain plot points had gotten a better wrap-up in this series.

    • Someone once stated that Nieli is hoping to write something detailing what led up to the apocalypse that conclusively ended the series. If he does so, he's going to have to do it as a series of graphic novels without the help from Nickelodeon or any of the companies associated with them. That or it would all have to be unofficial, probably posted on his website or something like that. I just believe that his time with that franchise, with those characters, is done.

    • Hate to break it to ya, but he couldn't release any graphic novels without Nick's blessing. Any unofficial graphic novels would probably provoke a lawsuit too.

Glad that particular mistake is buried.
