  • Any theories on what the Kraang want with April? My theory is that Casey Jones had something that the Kraang needed to perfect the Mutagen and the Kraang knew he had it and he knew they needed it, so when he knew the Kraang were coming for him he sent an integral part of it to April not saying what it is but to protect it at all costs and tell no one of it and the Kraang were able to get him to reveal April had it and that's why they want April, for the thing that I can't theorize what it is cuz I have no idea if this is true at all! What are your theories and what do you think of mine?

    • It's possible that Kraang Prime needs her for well any thing from Techno-drome to Time Scepter

        Loading editor
    • Mabye she's really a robot?

        Loading editor
    • Well her being a robot would explain why she's such a Kristen Steward. She has a guy that likes her yet she's totally oblivious to him and she almost always has the same expression on her face.   '-'

        Loading editor
    • Really I never noticed that

        Loading editor
    • She's not a robot but it is possible she might have something the Kraang wanted but just doesn't realize it. I don't know about Casey's involvement though.

        Loading editor
    • Or like in the comics she's not really human or The Kraang know about April's powers that Splinter discovered in 'Monkey Brains'.

        Loading editor
    • What powers?

        Loading editor
    • Apparently, she's something like an empath. She can sense another person's feelings.

        Loading editor
    • um no it was just a feeling. Splinter trained for that sensitivity his whole life, remember?

but yeah, maybe it's like in the comics, she's not really human. wonder how Donnie would react to that?

        Loading editor
    • That's basically what an empath is. They can sense the feelings of another person. Maybe she's not, but she could certainly tell what was wrong with that monkey a lot quicker than most people could.

        Loading editor
    • I THINK SHE IS THE KRAAG PRIME

        Loading editor
    • What makes you think that?  Also, I've never read the comics, so you'll have to clue me in a little here. Kraang Prime?

        Loading editor
    • i know that april is not the kraang prime because if she was she would attack the turtles before this episode

        Loading editor
    • She's not Kraang Prime or a robot. Where are you guys getting this stuff?  She's a human but the Kraang still want her for something. Can't wait to find out.

        Loading editor
    • I hope we get some kind of clue to what they want with her in Cockroach Terminator.

        Loading editor
    • No we didn't but hopefully we will in the next episode which dosen't have a title. Jeez hope  this show doesn't go on another break. This episode was good esp. Raph's reactions to Donnie's cockroach lol Also where were April and Splinter  when all this was happening?

        Loading editor
    • Probably training

        Loading editor
    • Maybe. I was surprised to not see Splinter in the new episode. He's always there but this is the fifth episode April didn't show up. Talk about bad timing. Just when we get the info that the Kraang are after April, the writers decided to make her and Splinter dissappear to who knows where.

    • Maybe she's apparently Kraang Prime's crush (NO OFFENCE) and, like, he wants her for himeself! That was the idiotic suggestion, but the logical suggestion is that maybe she can help the Kraang power up whatever they are working on and probably be used as a spy to find out how they can conquer the world and how they can destroy Raph, Mikey, Leo and Donnie...because they usually foil the Kraang's plans and April is kind of useful with her laptop.

        Loading editor
    • True. That's odd.

Lolz Raphs girly scream made me laugh alot. The only part i didnt like was when Leo was being a little bit too harsh on Raph for hiding away. I mean, you know he's scared of roaches Leo!

    • I think there is something unique about April's DNA that the Kraang want. They knew about it in the premier when they kidnapped her, but they seemed to lose track of her until "The Alien Agenda". After she sent her DNA sample to the Worldwide Genome Project for school, the Kraang knew where to find April and sent Mrs. Campbell to capture her. But what is it that makes April's DNA unique? The only clue we have so far is in "Monkey Brains", when she and Splinter talk about her having a "rare gift". This "sensitivity" April has naturally is something Splinter had to spend years of training on. We still don't know why April has this power, or what she could potentially do with it since it hasn't been shown or mentioned again, or what use the Kraang could have for it, but there's still eight episodes left in the season to explain things.

        Loading editor
    • Well I just hope they dont pull a Sari in TFA on us., That whole "she is a robot" thing really messed up everything. I am wondering if she is a hybrid of a human father and a krang mom(before they evolved into brains) and that she can breath oxygen and eat means that she has the survival set that the krang needs to live on this planet.

        Loading editor
    • Or maybe she is really a neutrino sent to earth when she was born, with vital information that "Kraang needs so that Kraang can do what Kraang intends to do"

        Loading editor
    • Hopefully we'll learn more when new episodes come in two weeks.

        Loading editor
    • I agree with Queenbean3 maybe. She probaby has something in her DNA that the Kraang finds useful otherwise the Kraang wouldn't have asked for her DNA in "Alien Agenda."

        Loading editor
    • Maybe the reason that the Kraang can't breathe the air is Psychological and they need April as incentive to her father or it could be that April has an important gene in her that they need and when they couldn't capture April they captured her father as incentive to her. It may also be possible that they captured her father to see if he had the gene they needed but when he didn't they tried to get April to see if she had it. By the way the fusion of the spy roach could suggest that the kraang has successfully altered their Mutagen and now if it gets on inorganic objects it could mutate them spelling trouble for the Turtles

        Loading editor
    • Queenbean3's statement makes sense, but April's not the only one who has that special ability...

I mean, it IS rare, but (in real life) it has been hinted that one of my best friends has that ability...so there might be, like, maybe 500 other people with that power...

Actually, I also had it when I was younger...but I haven't used it for at least 4 years...

        Loading editor
    • II think that, for sure, april is not entirley human, and her hightend sence may be a result of that, I theorize that the kraang have use for that ability as far as, mayber operating some special device, or even to find a key object or operate some kind of code.

        Loading editor
    • I hope we find out in either next episode or "Karai's vendetta."

        Loading editor
    • what if april is made from mutagen? The Kraang want to modify the muatgen so I'm thinking that maybe they're going to use april for their plans...

        Loading editor
    • I don't think she's made from mutagen either. Don't you think Splinter would sense something was up with April when he first met her? He does have have that same gift that April has it just him a long time to develop as he said in "Monkey Brains."

        Loading editor
    • Kraang Prime may wish to use her as a host body...sort of a living version of their robot exoskeletons. Her empathic ability could be used to forge a psychic link, her English would be perfect instead of gramatically minced, and of course the Turtles would be loathe to hurt their good friend.

        Loading editor
    • Wow. That is extreme but possible I guess.

        Loading editor
    • My numbers changed again. Weird.

        Loading editor
    • The Kraang could go a step futher: if  Horde Prime could jack into April's mind, she could use her to hypnotize large groups of people--similar to Rat King's power over rats. If they could broadcast and amplify her empathic abilities, concievably they could command a standing army of six billion Earthlings.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe her mother used to work for tcri and there was an accident that happend while she was pregnant with April, and whatever the accident was, it affect April while she was still in her mom's stomach.

Or maybe she's like a human hybrid of some sort...In Karai's vendetta the toxins that spilled on her didn't hurt her...the kraang that shredder captured said she was also a link of something. Maybe April has kraang dna in her....or maybe her mom was some half human kraang being....whose related to Kraang Prime. *I know that sounds stupid...but it's possible...*

        Loading editor
    • I sooooooooooooooooo think April is some sort of creature that the Kraang need and that   might be the start of a prophecy,'cause the Kraang said She is the one that is known as the one." The term"the one"is often used in prophecies.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe she possesses an inborn immunity to toxins that the Kraang could use to their advantage. After all, Earth's atmsophere is poison to Kraang, isn't it?  Sort of like how Sho'konabo's people couldn't stand the rays from Earth's sun. That's why they brought their own air, which is toxic to humans, from Dimension X.

        Loading editor
    • April wasn't affected by the kraang water so maybe that is it

        Loading editor
    • Queenbean3's statement makes sense. She did resist Kraang water when it was splashed on her after Michelangelo knocked the Kraang water over. She also has the "rare gift".I think her DNA is unique.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe there should be a casual remark about her never being sick a day in her life..."not even a sniffle". Perhaps sApril just figured she was lucky to never catch a cold or suffer the flu, and never even thought she was unique. Mikey, being a comic-book buff, makes a reference to Wolverine's  (name altered to avoid lawsuits, of course) amazing mutant healing factor. Raph slaps him in disgust. Don thinks that may not be too far off.

        Loading editor
    • It could be possible that April's mom is a Kraang droid, married to a human. So from my theory, I could possibly say that April is half human, half Kraang because if she was full human, her arm would have been disinegrated by now. Forgot the episode but I heard from a source I forgot.

        Loading editor
    • Maybe she was the last survivor of her planet, sent to Earth as a baby in a rocketship, found in a cornfield, and adopted by the O'Neills (yeah, total Superman vibe)....

Or her mother was alien royalty who was exiled when the Kraang took over her planet, and fled to Earth...where she fell in love with Kirby O'Neill and, in the fullness of time, had a daughter. Perhaps her alien physiology broke down after too long on Earth and she died; perhaps, with regrets, she returned to her people to help fight the oncoming horde of Kraang, who now threatened her new homeworld (to say she is "lost" is a bit vague). The Kraang speak of April as "The One", which suggests a goddess, a prophet, or a princess.

    • Did you all take a good look at the fight April and Karai had in Karai's Vendetta? April should of lost that fight. I know this because Karai is a very power ninja and she's The Shredder's daughter. I was amazed and surprised that April was able to escape Karai not hurt at all when she got back to the sewers. But she did get badly hurt dering the fight, but some how it was almost like she had 4 quick recoveries. She shouldn't be standing and at Shredders lair right now after that fight. I did like it when April threw Karai down the flight of stairs in that episode(lol).

Yes. Poor April got her butt whipped but she took down Karai surprisingly with the helpful advice by Splinter in the beginning of the episode though the advice was directed towards Mikey which I thought was pretty weird. I thought Mikey was going to use that advice for a future battle so he knows not to give up easily but instead it was April who used Splinter's advice to win her battle. I thought it was cool but I would've loved it better if Mikey got to use Splinter's lesson in a situation.

    • Guys this is crazy! All this kraang water having no affect, her having "powers," and the possibility she's part kraang! Well, the kraang are kidnapping scientists right? Well, maybe the kraang think her brain is useful and she could perfect the ooze.

        Loading editor
    • Dude you defenitly got it wrong! That is the worst theory yet! (No offense) I think she has kraang ginetic code in her which the kraang want because her DNA is hybrid with kraang and human so the kraang can use it so they could breathe in oxegen so their invasion would be easy as pie. By the way, Karai's new "pet" kraang said, and I quote,"She is the one that is known as the one." By the way, the kraang talk LOL!!!

    • They would have really jumped the shark if it's revealed that April is a robot, kinda like it being revealed that the shredder is an utrom in the 2003 series. (An utrom is like a kraang, but most utroms have befriended the turtles instead of trying to blow their shells off). I defenitly agree with the last guy.

    • Okay get comfortable 'cause this may take a wile to read. I think that April O'Neil is not as human as we think. In three separate continuities Krang was an enemy of the Neutrinos so it stands to reason that the Kraang will be likewise. My theory (don't hold me to this) is that during the war with the Neutrinos the Kraang made several attempts of the Neutrinos' head of state (I.E. their king and queen) focusing mostly on the at the time pregnant) queen to keep her and the unborn child safe, the Neutrinos sent her to earth where she met and fell in love with Dr. Kirby O'Neil, when she eventually gave birth to the child she had been close enough to the good doctor that he didn't suspect any thing and accepted it as his child, how ever the Kraang were aware of the Neutrinos' charade and Kraang Prime sent a squad of Kraang to capture the Neutrino queen and princess sending with them a Technodrome and enough ooze (which in Dimention X is chemically equal to liquid hydrogen) to power it, the Kraang ended up getting abit sidetracked by their need to modify the ooze so the queen and "princess April" slipped past them for fifteen years. So the Kraang plan to capture April to destroy the morale of the Neutrinos, fix the ooze to power the Technodrome and conquer both the Earth and the Neutrinos' home world

    • I don't know if this is the answer, but remeber when she was working on a science project for human DNA. Such as donating a sample of her saliva for DNA research from the episode called The Alien Agenda. I wonder if there is something in her DNA that caught the Krang's attention?

        Loading editor
    • Well I heard that the reason she wasn't affected by the kraang water was cause she has Kraang DNA or something from Dimension X. It would only properly and stablely mutate someone by the last animal they had physical contact with. ( example: Bradford mutated into Dogpound cause he was bitten by Akita Shredder's Hachiko/dog. But the Pulverizer turned into a blob maybe cause he didn't have any physical contact with an animal.

    • Hmm... So lets see here The Kraang working with the foot clan mirrors Krang from the 1987 series, right? so, The Kraang+Shredder/Foot clan+portal to Dimension X/ Traag+Kraang Prime (who is obviously the leader of the Kraang)+Technodrome+April+the Turtles+ the Kraans ship= in the series finalie, they might use April's ninja powers as a power source for thier technology and help Shredder and then Shredder takes over the earth with the foot and the Kraang and then the Turtles kill him and save the world and by series finalie I meant as in the end of the whole series

      1. She is Splinters daughter. Doesn't explain why Krang want her.

      2. She is part Krang. We have no evidence to back this up.

She has an empathic ability--whether it is alien remains to be seen; she might be a "natural" mutant, as opposed to a "chemical" one created by toxic waste--which if properly harnessed could be used to enslave untold thousands, even millions.
