Synopsis[]

In Donatello's lab, he attempts to use a device to track where Shredder is with the shattered pieces of the second Forever Sword, but the machine returns an error. He states that they might need to have Shredder use the sword in a manner that produced a large amount of energy so they can have a chance to find him.

In the middle of Long Island, Shredder stands with the Forever Sword and prepares to summon the Technodrome in front of Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady. However, he had a vision during his trip back from the past, and instead summons an upgraded Technodrome from the future.

This trigger's Don's Dimensional Rift Alarm, and the Turtles prepare to head out. Leonardo says they can use the second Forever Sword to instantly get to Long Island, and Michelangelo proposes they use super glue to put it back together.

The Turtles arrive in Long Island 10 minutes later, and Krang sics Bebop and Rocksteady on them to interrupt their attempt to thwart their plans. The Turtles, as usual, are beating the goons, but Shredder decides to even the odds by summoning a plethora of multicolored Foot Soldiers, along with Mousers, Roadkill Rodneys, and Tubular Transports. The Turtles take on the robot army, while Krang points out that the portal the Technodrome is coming through begins to close. Don says that it's because the sword is losing energy after summoning the robots and that it can't support another massive portal like one needed to pull through the Technodrome.

Shredder leaps up to the emerging Technodrome and tries concentrating to keep the portal stable. Leonardo proposes to use the Forever Sword in his possession to stop Shredder, and heads after him while his brothers deal with the robots, Bebop, and Rocksteady. Leo uses the sword to open a rift inside the current one headed in the opposite direction, The portals collapse, sending the Technodrome and Shredder to parts unknown. Meanwhile, Bebop, Krang, and Rocksteady escape in a Footcruiser.

Michelangelo picks up Shredder's dropped Forever Sword, and inadvertently opens a brief portal to Ace Duck. Donatello warns him that the sword is not a toy, and Renet suddenly arrives to echo his sentiment. She says she can take the swords to her safehouse at the end of time to keep them from further endangering anyone. When Raphael inquires whether the swords were the threat she warned them of, she says that they were only part of it, and she needed to be vague so that they would do what they were supposed to - and breaking space-time "a little" is important to keep it strengthened. She says little weirdness "hiccups" will occur for the next three to four days, and suddenly some robotic dinosaurs appear to prove her point. As she exits, she says they'll have to just keep them distracted until they return to their own time and place.

Back in the abandoned building that the villains had been holing up in, Krang attempts to bring Shredder back from the limbo he's stuck in. He only partially succeeds, bringing Saki in as an intangible, transparent apparition, as he's still stuck between dimensions. Mr. Ogg then pops up to tell the reader that he'll return in the next issue.
