Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello are watching a film called Son of the Mummy Meets Dracula's Brother-in-Law's Second Cousin, when Raphael walks into the room and starts questioning about the movie, even going as far to call the ancient Egyptians uncivilized just because they didn't have pizza.

Just then, April O'Neil breaks in on the movie, reporting about a criminal calling himself "The Pharaoh", who bases all of his crimes on the Ten Plagues of Ancient Egypt. His first crime was to train some flies to distract and attack the security detail in a museum, while he stole a ruby. His second crime was to attack a rich garden party with drones that shot hailstones, and collect their valuables. Finally, his third to-date crime was to unleash one million hand-picked lice on a dog show so he could steal the trophies.

Donatello reads in the District News that there is going to be an exhibition of Egyptian rarities at the history museum, but before that, the items will be showing at a millionaire's private party. The Turtles predict that The Pharaoh will hit this party.

Donning disguises and convincing the party folk that they are eccentric movie directors, they start loading up on food but are interrupted by an assault of frogs. The Pharaoh blasts the Turtles with sand from a vacuum cleaner, then gets away with the antiquities on a camel. Donatello throws a tracker on his camel, and they begin to follow in the Turtle Van.

The van's tires end up getting popped by tiny pyramid caltrops, but they find his (larger) pyramid hideout. Inside, they find the villain bathing and talking to himself, talking about how he's using actual Nile River water to wash, and contemplating using the plague of darkness (cutting the city's power) to cover his next theft. The Turtles interrupt him, and The Pharaoh climbs out of his bath to dress while he tells them his origin (which the Turtles bemoan).

Once mild-mannered Egyptologist Perry Midd, he was attempting to translate some hieroglyphics inside a sarcophagus, when the lid slammed shut on his head. Midd became convinced that this accident gave him super intelligence, and somehow thought becoming a supervillain would be a good idea.

The Pharaoh sics his henchmen on the Turtles, but Donatello and Raphael make short work of them. Michelangelo and Leonardo go looking for Midd, which Mikey deduces is the "mummy" they come across. As a last-ditch effort, The Pharaoh attempts to drop the Turtles through a trap door... which is stuck. Upon attempting to free it, he drops down, himself, knocking him into a pit full of crocodiles. He climbs out and gives up.
