[Opening sequence and theme song.]
[Episode opens in a park. April is on-site reporting the news.]
April O'Neil "This is April O’Neil, Channel 6 news, here at the Science and Technology exhibition here in Median Park, featuring the latest high-tech wonders--everything from computerized weather balloons to solar-powered bicycles. But the real star of the show is the army's new top-secret zeppelin auto gyro, which will make its maiden flight this evening. General, the armed forces stopped using zeppelins over fifty years ago. Why bring them back now?."
[To the television inside the turtles’ lair.]
General "Well, I'm afraid that's classified information, Miss O'Neil."
April "Remember, you heard it here first. And now, back to our studios."
[Donatello turns the television set off and returns to entertaining their guests.]
Donatello "Now can I finish my story? After all, Zach and Walt never heard these turtle adventures."
Raphael "Neither have we. And we were there."
Donatello "Anyway, there I was, Shredder and his Foot soldiers moving in. My brother turtles were no help. They'd been knocked unconscious."
Raphael "Wrong. We passed out from boredom."
Michelangelo "Bag the story, Donatello. I want to show the little dudes our scrapbook."
Zach "Wow! A teenage mutant ninja turtle scrapbook! What's in it?"
Michelangelo "Mementos of our adventures. Like, here."
Zach "A flower?"
Donatello "She always left a lotus as a calling card."
Zach "Aw, and this must be you guys before you were mutants."
Leonardo "We were just baby turtles then."
Raphael "Oh, yeah, cute little nippers, weren't we?"
Walt "Who's that guy?"
Leonardo "That's Master Splinter."
Raphael "Before that rat Shredder turned him into a rat."
Donatello "And these are the most valuable things in our scrapbook. This is the only map to our lair. We used to get lost a lot down here."
Raphael "Oh, that's right. Blab it to the whole world."
Donatello "And this is the evidence of Shredder's conspiracy."
Walt "Conspiracy?"
Leonardo "It proves that Shredder conspired to get Master Splinter thrown out of the Foot Clan."
Zach "Oh! You mean this could reinstate Master Splinter into the Foot Clan?"
Raphael "Right. And they'd give Shredder the boot."
Zach "Wow! I bet Shredder would love to get his hands on this."
Splinter "We must prevent that at all costs."
Zach "Eew, yuck! Ugh, what is this?"
Michelangelo "Oh, that's the crust from my very first slice of pizza."
Donatello "Hey, guys, if you don't mind, I'd like to finish my story. Surrounded and outnumbered, I attacked. The Foot soldiers couldn't withstand the force of my powerful strokes. Hyah!"
[He hits a lamp and breaks it.]
Raphael "Nice going, Donatello. I 'll call you if I'm ever attacked by a lamp."
[The document pouch holding the valuable scrapbook items falls to the ground. The only one to notice is Walt. He picks it up and tucks it into his shirt.]
Walt "Uh, uh-oh, it's late. We gotta go or our parents are gonna worry."
Zach "Well, thanks for letting us see your scrapbook."
Walt "Uh, yeah. And thanks for letting me come along."
Splinter "The turtles and I will always remember your brother's bravery, Walt."
Walt "Right. My brother the hero."
Splinter "I am certain one day you will show your bravery."
Michelangelo "Come on, dudes. I'll guide you back."
Zach "Okay, see you later, guys."
Turtles "Okay. See ya’. Take care."
[Inside the sewers, Bebop and Rocksteady drive a Technorover through a tunnel wall.]
Bebop "Hey, this ain't the park. How are we gonna swipe stuff from that science fair?"
Michelangelo "Come on, you guys."
Rocksteady "Hold it! Someone's coming."
Michelangelo "Now, just take the next sewer tunnel to the left and you'll be near your pad when you climb out."
Zach "Oh, thanks, Michelangelo. We never would've found our way out without you."
Michelangelo "Exactamundo. That's the way we like it. So long, little dudes."
Zach "So long!"
Walt "Bye!"
Zach "Wow. Weren't the turtles great, Walt?"
Walt "I guess. They sure think you're something."
Zach "
Walt! That's the turtles' document pouch!"
[Gasps]
Walt! That's the turtles' document pouch!"
Walt "Well, it fell out of that scrapbook, so I took it for a souvenir. The turtles don't need a map to their lair, anyway."
Zach "But Master Splinter can use that evidence to clear his name with the Foot Clan. Oh, you gotta give it back, Walt."
Walt "No way. You get to be an honorary turtle. You get a turtlecom. I don't get anything--except this pouch."
Zach "Walt! Come back!"
[Walt runs off and Zach chases after him. Bebop and Rocksteady have been eavesdropping.]
Rocksteady "Those kids got a map to the turtles' hideout."
Bebop "Yeah, and some stuff about the Foot Clan."
Rocksteady "Ooh, if we got that, I bet Shredder would give us a raise."
Bebop "Raise what? He don't pay us now."
[They call Shredder on their comlink.]
Shredder "You say they have evidence concerning Splinter and the Foot Clan and a map to the turtles' lair?"
Rocksteady "Right, boss."
Shredder "Don't let them out of your sight. I'm on my way to join you in the transport module."
[The two brothers climb out of the sewers into a park.]
Zach "Give that back! It's turtle property!"
Walt "Huh. He must have gone home to cry to mommy. I bet even little brother could find the turtles' lair with this."
[Zach snatches the pouch out of his hand, and runs across the stage inside the park’s amphitheater.]
Zach "Turtle power! And I'm taking this back to--
Shredder!"
[gasps]
Shredder!"
Shredder "I'll take that pouch, if you don't mind."
Zach "I do mind!"
[He darts past Shredder and runs.]
Shredder "Bebop, Rocksteady! After him!"
Bebop "Hey, we're on stage."
Rocksteady "How do I look?"
Walt "Who are those freaks? I'm getting out of here!"
[He jumps through an opening into a space beneath the stage. Zach runs up to him.]
Zach "Walt, am I glad to see you!"
Walt "You are?"
Zach "Yeah. Here, take the pouch!"
Walt "Uh-uh. I don't want it anymore."
Zach "Walt, you've got to hide it until we can take it back to the turtles."
Walt "What are you gonna do?"
Zach "Uh, I'll stall those creeps."
Walt "Great. Where am I supposed to hide this? Oh! I'll hide it in that cannon."
Bebop "The kid ain't here."
Rocksteady "Wow, look at this stuff! Ha ha. What do thee think?"
Shredder "I think that thou had better find that brat now!"
Rocksteady "Uh, right, boss."
[The stage trapdoor creaks as Zach pushes against it, preparatory to climbing onto the stage.]
Shredder "What was that? There you are!"
Zach "Come any closer and I'll--I'll slice you to ribbons.
Hey! Let go of me!"
[Bebop and Rocksteady tackle him.]
Hey! Let go of me!"
Shredder "Search him."
Rocksteady "Sorry, boss, not a sign of the pouch."
Shredder "Oh, he must have hidden it. Take him to the Technodrome. Krang has ways of making him talk."
Zach "Unh! You creeps won't get away with this."
Rocksteady "Ooh, come on, kid. This play has got one more act."
Bebop "Yeah, and then it's curtains for you."
Shredder "Now, to find that map.
So, you have the pouch."
[He confronts Walt.]
So, you have the pouch."
Walt "No, I don't have it. Leave me alone."
Shredder "Then where'd you put it? You will tell me."
Zach "Help!
This is Zach calling the turtles. Emergency!"
[On his turtlecom.]
This is Zach calling the turtles. Emergency!"
Shredder "Oh...Can't those numskulls even handle a boy? I'll deal with you later. Not even your friends can save you now."
[Walt runs away as Shredder is dealing with Zach.]
Walt "I've got to get out of here! The science fair! I'll hide in the crowd."
Shredder "Now, take this brat to the Technodrome. I'll get the other one."
Zach "You creeps are pretty brave, pushing a kid around."
Bebop "Hey, pushing kids around is what we do best."
Shredder "There he goes!"
[Walt runs through the crowd.]
Crowd "Hey, watch it! Be careful! Hey, kid!"
Walt "Somebody help me!"
Shredder "Out of my way!"
Security Guard "Hey, you! Stop chasing that kid!"
Shredder "Are you gonna stop me?"
Security Guard "No. But...but I'm sure somebody will."
Shredder "Now where did he go?
Aha! You won't get away from me that easily. I know these sewers, and you are a mere boy."
[Spots an open manhole cover and leaps down.]
Aha! You won't get away from me that easily. I know these sewers, and you are a mere boy."
[Inside the Technodrome. Bebop and Rocksteady are holding Zach. Shredder is speaking to Krang via comlink.]
Shredder "I need that pouch, Krang. My reputation as leader of the Foot Clan is at stake. And with that map, I can seek out and destroy Splinter."
Krang "I care nothing about your little Foot clan or your feud with Splinter. I have more important things to do than extract information from boys."
Shredder "Oh, do this for me, and I'll--I'll—"
Krang "Yes?"
Shredder "I'll work Saturdays for a month."
Krang "Well..."
Shredder "Please?"
Krang "Ha, ha, ha! I love it when you beg. All right. Prepare the thought extractor."
[Zach is seated in the thought extractor.]
Krang "You have one last chance, boy, so why don't you just draw that map for me?"
Zach "Why don't you go suck an egg!"
Krang "Hmm! As you wish. Prepare him for thought extraction."
Rocksteady "Ooh, this’ll drain his brain."
[Bebop and Rocksteady are still touching the extractor when Krang throws the switch. They are both electrocuted.]
Bebop "Shut it off! Shut it off! Shut it off!"
Computer "Beginning thought extraction on mutant rhino and warthog. No data to extract."
[Zach escapes and runs away.]
Zach "Turtle power!"
[In the sewers, Walt is still trying to escape Shredder.]
Walt "Oh, which way is the turtles' lair? I can't remember. I'm lost! I want to go home. No. I made this mess, and I'm gonna fix it."
Shredder "You can't hide from me, boy. Nobody escapes from Shredder. This has not been a red-letter day."
[Back inside the Technodrome, Zach has discovered a control room.]
Zach "Oh, wow! These have to be the controls for everything in the Technodrome. Huh, let's see what this does."
[He begins pulling levers. In the park, April speaks to the turtles via turtlecom.]
April "And the security guard said Shredder was chasing a teenage boy through the crowd."
Leonardo "Did he say where they went, April?"
April "He said they both ran into the sewers."
Crewman "April."
April "Uh-oh. I'm on the air. I gotta go! I'm coming!"
Leonardo "A teenager? You don't suppose it could of been Zach or Walt?"
Donatello "We'd better check it out. Let's go."
[Cut to the Technodrome.]
Bebop "Where'd that little creep go?"
Rocksteady "Ooh, he's gotta be around here someplace."
Bebop "Oh, great. This joint only got nine hundred and seventy-two rooms."
Zach "
Ahem. Attention all scuzz buckets! Prepare for sudden sinking feeling."
[on PA]
Ahem. Attention all scuzz buckets! Prepare for sudden sinking feeling."
[A trapdoor opens under the pair of mutants.]
Both "Whoa! Whoa!"
Zach "Now, let's see where they're headed. It looks like a laundry."
Bebop "Mama!"
Both "Aah!"
Bebop "Oh, no! No! Anything but the washing machine!"
Rocksteady "At least no spin drying, please!"
[Mechanical arms place them inside an industrial size washing machine.]
Zach "
We turtles always fight clean!"
[on PA]
We turtles always fight clean!"
[The machine spins, spraying the pair with water and soap. They cough and gurgle.]
Zach "That'll hold 'em for a while. Hmm. Automatic food dispensers. I wonder what'd happen if I tied that into the ventilation system."
Krang "All right, where is he?
How can one little brat cause so much trouble?"
[Food pops out and splatters on his face.]
How can one little brat cause so much trouble?"
[Zach presses another button, causing Bebop and Rocksteady slide out of the washing machine.]
Both "Whoooaa!"
Zach "
"Eyeball missile control”. I wonder what these do?"
[Reading from the control panel.]
"Eyeball missile control”. I wonder what these do?"
[Back to the turtles, who are searching the tunnels.]
Michelangelo "Like, no sign of anything."
Leonardo "We've got to keep looking.
All right, whoever you are, come out slowly."
[They hear clattering in a pile of junk.]
All right, whoever you are, come out slowly."
Donatello "Walt?! What are you doing in there?"
Walt "Looking for you guys."
Raphael "Let me guess. You didn't find us."
Walt "Zach's in trouble! They took him to the Technodrome!"
Donatello "Why’d they do that?"
Walt "Why? Uh, well, you see, uh..."
Leonardo "Let's worry about that later. First we've got to rescue him!"
[Inside the Technodrome, Zach makes another public address system announcement.]
Zach "All right, you creeps! It's eyeball missile time."
Krang "Oh, no!"
[Missiles begin firing off, shooting past Bebop and Rocksteady.]
Both "Yeow! Whoa! Aah!"
Krang "Bebop! Rocksteady! That brat must be in the command room! Ohh, find him before he wrecks this place!"
[Shredder returns to his Technorover.]
Shredder "I've had it. I'm not going to waste the whole day looking for that brat! Krang must have pulled the map out of the other kid's brain by now."
[Zach has discovered another set of controls in the Technodrome.]
Zach "Gyroscopic balance control. Ha! Yeah! Ha. That ought to shake things up."
[He pulls the lever. The Technodrome starts shaking.]
Rocksteady "Whoa! What the heck?"
Krang "That kid has disengaged the gyroscopic balance control. Stop him before the Technodrome falls into the lava lake!"
[As they grab on walls to maintain their balance, Zach goes sliding past them.]
Zach "Whoa! Help!
Whoa! Ahh.
Ohh...whew! That was too close."
[He is sliding towards lava.]
Whoa! Ahh.
[He grabs onto a safety handle.]
Ohh...whew! That was too close."
[Shredder drives through the underground tunnels.]
Shredder "Fouled up by an oil spill and thwarted by a wet-nosed kid! If one more thing goes wrong, I'll--what?
I turn my back for five minutes and the place starts falling apart!"
[He encounters a pool of lava.]
I turn my back for five minutes and the place starts falling apart!"
[Shredder returns to the Technodrome, where Krang is trying to make repairs.]
Krang "Recalibrate the gyros."
Shredder "I can't leave you alone for a minute!"
Krang "Would you shut up and help!"
Shredder "I suppose you failed to get the map from that kid's brain."
Krang "And I suppose you succeeded where we failed?"
Shredder "Uh, not exactly. But at least I didn't let some brat almost wreck the Technodrome. Uh-oh."
[They look out and see Zach drive off in the Technorover.]
Krang "Oh, no. You've let some brat steal our only Technorover."
Shredder "No matter. He'll no doubt go back for the pouch in order to return it to the turtles. This surveillance drone will keep track of him and steal the pouch when he gets to it."
[The turtles and Walt are looking for Zach.]
Raphael "Of course, it would help if we knew where the Technodrome was. Which we don't."
Donatello "Oh, great. Which way do we go now?"
Leonardo "Listen. That sounds like a vehicle."
Raphael "Stand back, Walt. We'll handle this."
Donatello "It's a Technorover!"
All "Turtle power!"
Donatello "Let's stop this guy in his tracks!"
Raphael "All right, Shredder, this time you're--Zach! Zach?"
Zach "Hi, Raphael!"
Donatello "What are you doing in a Technorover?"
Zach "I'll explain later. Where did you hide the document pouch?"
Walt "Well...Uh..."
Leonardo "Pouch? What pouch?"
Michelangelo "What's goin' down, dudes?"
Zach "Walt, um, borrowed that document pouch."
Raphael "He did what?"
[The surveillance drone hovers unseen over them.]
Zach "Well, that's why Shredder was after us. What'd you do with it, Walt?"
Walt "I--I hid it in the mouth of that cannon in the park. I guess it's still there."
Shredder "That's what I wanted to hear! To the transport module!"
[In the park, April is continuing her interview.]
April "General, you still haven't explained the purpose of this strange vehicle."
General "We're certain that citizens will sleep better just knowing that it cost billions of dollars."
April "What about security? After today's disturbance ,have any special measures been taken?"
General "We've got this place locked up tighter than a drum, little lady. No one's going to--whoa-oa!"
[The manhole cover moves under him, pitching him to the side. The turtles and the two boys exit.]
April "Turtles, what's going on?"
Raphael "Sorry, April, can't talk. Busy day."
General "Ahem. Let me repeat--the army is in control and there's no need for panic. Whoa-oa!"
[A transport module drills up right next to him.]
Shredder "The turtles are after the pouch! Get them!"
Raphael "I almost got it."
Shredder "Get away from that cannon!"
Donatello "How about if I just get the cannon away from us?"
[He gives it a shove and it starts rolling downhill, with Raphael still clinging to the barrel.]
Raphael "H-hey!"
Shredder "Rocksteady, hold off the turtles."
[He and Bebop hijack an army chopper blimp.]
Rocksteady "Say your turtle prayers, shell backs!"
Michelangelo "That guy's, like, a major pain."
Donatello "Leonardo, where are you going?"
Leonardo "To stop those chopper-nappers."
[He unties the mooring line on a hot air balloon and holds on as it ascends.]
Raphael "Oh, let me off at the corner, driver!
Ah-choo. Thanks."
[He plunges into a pond.]
Ah-choo. Thanks."
Shredder "I have it now."
[Michelangelo and Donatello run into the back of a truck to escape Rocksteady’s laser blasts.]
Zach "Michelangelo and Donatello are trapped in there."
Walt "I've gotta help stop this."
Salesman "This is the latest thing in fire-fighting foam. It not only puts out blazes, it also has a minty-fresh scent."
Walt "I have to borrow this for a minute."
Salesman "Hey, come back! What are you doing?"
Donatello "Oh, I hate to say this, but...I think we're cooked."
Rocksteady "Ha, ha. You sure are. I'm gonna whip up a couple of French-fried turtles."
Walt "Leave them alone."
Rocksteady "Oh, yeah? Who's gonna make me?"
Walt "I am!"
[Walt sprays Rocksteady with the foam.]
Rocksteady "Whoa! Yecch! Blech! Mint! I hate this!"
Michelangelo "Way to go, dude."
[Bebop grabs onto the cannon and the chopper pulls it out of the pond. Raphael is still clinging to it.]
Raphael "Thanks for the lift, fella!"
Bebop "No free rides, chump."
[He shoves Raphael off and Leonardo, who is clinging to the balloon mooring line, catches him.]
Raphael "Nice of somebody to remember me."
Leonardo "Come on, we're gonna ground those creeps...for keeps!"
Bebop "Uh, Hurry up, boss. This thing's getting heavy."
Shredder "I almost have it."
[Leonardo slices into the blimp. It shoots around the sky as air escapes.]
Shredder "Whoaaaa!"
Raphael "Leonardo, you don't suppose that cannon is loaded?"
Leonardo "Oh, it can't be. It's a hundred years old."
[The cannon falls into the pond and explodes.]
Leonardo "Oh, well, even leaders are wrong once in a while."
Bebop "Are you okay, boss?"
[He pulls Shredder out of the pond.]
Shredder "This has been one of the worst days of my life. But at least I got the map."
[The turtles have returned to their lair, along with Zach and Walt.]
Michelangelo "Now we can kick back and cool out for a change."
Zach "What about Shredder? He could be on his way here right now! You never got the map back."
Raphael "Who says we didn't? I substituted a phony map before he even got there."
Donatello "Speaking of Shredder, he should be dropping out of the picture just about now."
[In the sewers, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady stand before a large round door.]
Shredder "There, that must be the door to their lair."
[They charge at it, crashing through. It is actually a large pipe which hangs out over the river. The trio fall into the water.]
All "Unh! Hohh! Aah!"
Rocksteady "Are you sure this is the turtles' lair, boss?"
Shredder "Shut up and swim."
[Back to the lair.]
Walt "Turtles, it was wrong of me to take your map. Please don't take it out on Zach."
Michelangelo "Ah, forget about it, little dude."
Splinter "Yes, it was wrong, but it turned out well, and you had a chance to show your true courage."
Donatello "That's why we've decided..."
Raphael "That you can be the sixth turtle."
Walt "You mean it? Oh, wow! You guys are the greatest!"
Michelangelo "Yeah. Now all we need are a seventh and an eighth turtle and the four of us can retire."
[End Credits]
