Plot[]
The episode starts at the lair where the Turtles are preparing to watch the skateboard event live in Tōkyō. Leonardo says that he can do a 14-40, since Sydney Allen used a skateboard skill. He starts to skate down the ramp while Raphael and Mikey try to protect the food Mikey had baked. As Leo skated up the ramp, he lost his balance and his skateboard crashed into the Wi-Fi router. Everyone panicked, thinking that they would never see Sydney’s move. They asked Splinter if they could watch the TV but Splinter said that he would miss his commercials. So, they decided that they should try somewhere else.
They headed to Gilbert's Department Store and put in the password since April worked last year. Now they are able to watch the skateboard event. They began to watch separately after a few minutes. Then, they heard a crash coming from the other side. Raph decided to check it out, only to bump into a mannequin. We saw the thieves from "Origami Tsunami" who had arrived here. They heard a noise and Foot Brute checked it out, only to find a mannequin head. They started to break through a jewelry store with a torch as Raph witnesses. He warns his brothers that flame warriors are breaking in. But the boys said that they should be done watching the live steam. Raph sighs, saying that they should do both.
A while later, the Mad Dogs confront the Foot Clan to put down the ruby ring and that gauntlet they don’t recognize. However, they began to battle the origami ninja summoned by Foot Lieutenant. The battle started to go well until Raph’s, Leo’s and Mikey’s phone broke in the process. They now believe that Donnie’s tablet is the only thing left. Raph punches Brute while Mikey kicks Foot Lieutenant, but in the process, both Foot soldiers break the tablet, much to the Turtles’ despair.
As the turtles lament that they could never watch Sydney, the Foot starts to steal the key. Donnie wondered if she did her first try, which Raph said that they could have stopped him. So to make it up, Raph asked Leo if he could try the 14-40 again. Leo successfully managed to stop the Foot and got back the ring from them. Leo then found a security tablet in the guard desk and it’s battery powered.
In the alley, Foot Lieutenant holds the gauntlet and tells his partner that they thought they were after a ring.
