The Kraang, are a telepathically enslaved Hive Mind faction of Utroms who were corrupted by and serve Kraang Prime.
This version of The Kraang are branched off from their previous version in the 2012 TV series. Their history before the events of the Panini comics is the same as that of their animated version, and remains similar in many ways after the continuity split.

Chasing Shadows[]
The Kraang debut in Chasing Shadows when the Turtles who are tracking strange energy spikes, enter one of their warehouses. Though the Kraang attack, the Turtles make short work of them.
Strength in Numbers[]
Working off of information supplied by Pigeon Pete the Turtles split up to investigate Kraang activity. It turns out to be a plot by The Kraang to separate them and it works as they quickly capture Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. It is up to Leonardo to effect a rescue with the aid of the ragtag team of Kirby O'Neil, Pigeon Pete and Ice Cream Kitty.
Nano Your Business[]
Inside a warehouse, the Kraang are discussing the acquisition of “the things that are needed to modify the thing that is mutagen”. The Turtles attack and handily defeat them, destroying their mutagen in the process.
Sub-Zero Hero[]
In their latest effort to paralyze New York City to make it ready for takeover, The Kraang activate a weather controller. This turns the city into a frozen wonderland in the middle of July. The Turtles investigate and try to stop the plot, but they are so cold they can barely move. It is up to Ice Cream Kitty to save the day, which she does in spectacular style.
