The Kraang are a telepathically enslaved Hive Mind faction of Utroms who were corrupted by and serve Kraang Prime.

This version of The Kraang are branched off from their previous version in the 2012 TV series. Their history before the events of the Amazing Adventures comics is the same as that of their animated version and remains similar in many ways after the continuity split.

History[]

Zine-Age Mutant Ninja Turtle[]

A bored Michelangelo decides to create his own comic. In it, the Kraang appear as the antagonists. They are discovered by the Turtles at the same music festival the Turtles are attending.

The Meeting of the Mutanimals, Part One[]

The story begins by establishing the time and setting of Manhattan during the Kraang occupation. After Slash rescues Pete from The Kraang, the pair travel to a school where Slash has heard is housing prisoners of the Kraang.

The Meeting of the Mutanimals, Part 2[]

After Slash and Pete are captured by the Kraang, they learn that Tyler Rockwell and Leatherhead are in adjoining cells. Remembering lessons taught to Raphael and observed by him when he was Spike, Slash uses trickery to gain the freedom of all the mutants in the school.

The Face of Two Worlds[]

The Kraang appear in a quick flashback as Michelangelo is fussing about them.

Epilogue: The Terror of the Kraang[]

While battling the Kraang in Gotham City, Leonardo explains that back when the Mad Hatter somehow hacked into the Kraang’s systems, the Kraang was kind of defunct, but the Turtles think it woke them up and inspired them back into action. Batman says they tracked the signal or tracked one of them and Leo responds in the affirmative. Leo continues that when Raphael ran across a pair of Kraangdroids with a portal generator, he took them out. Then Donatello took a look at their log history which enabled the Turtles to follow them here.
