[Opening sequence and theme song.]

[Episode begins inside the turtles’ lair. Three of the Turtles, along with Splinter and April, are watching news footage on their TV.]

Leonardo "This news footage you got is great, April."

Splinter "Yes. It is most advantageous to study one's opponent."

April O'Neil "Anything I can do to help, guys."

Leonardo "Where's Donatello? He should be watching this."

[Donatello is in his workshop. Michelangelo goes to track him down.]

Michelangelo "Yo, Mr. Wizard, don't you want to scope out the latest stuff on Shred-head's plans?"

[The machine Donatello is working on starts to spark and has to be shut off.]

Donatello "Oh, I might as well. I don't think I'll ever get this dimensional portal repaired."

[They join the others in time to see on-screen how Donatello dodges Bebop and Rocksteady, making them bash into each other.]

Raphael "You know, if Rocksteady and Bebop had more than a single brain cell between them, they could be pretty dangerous."

Michelangelo "Yeah, sometimes I wonder why Shredder and Krang even keep 'em around."

[Cut to the Technodrome in Dimension X.]

Shredder "You two losers have bungled yet another operation. You were supposed to bring back an advanced wave modulator."

Krang "Instead, you come back empty-handed."

Bebop "Well, you know what they say--lose a few...uh, lose a few."

Shredder "You two lose them all!"

Rocksteady "Oh, gee, boss, give us a break. Them turtles was all over us, like green bubble gum."

Shredder "All right, that's it! I've had it up to my helmet with both of you!"

Bebop "Uh, boss, are you trying to tell us something?"

Shredder "Yes. You're fired! Now, get out of my sight!"

Rocksteady "Okay, what if we—"

Shredder "Out, out, out!
[He picks up something to throw at them and they both start running.]

I'll find someone more competent to do our dirty work.
"

Krang "Not that I'm defending those two yo-yos, but we're not exactly overburdened with good help here. All we've got are your Foot soldier robots, and they're about as smart as a blow dryer."

Shredder "You're right. Let's try to use your new experimental brain-wave enhancer to increase their robotic intelligence. Do you think it'll work?"

Krang "Miracles, I don't do."

[Back at the lair...]

Raphael "Boy, this is almost as exciting as reruns of the weather report."

Michelangelo "Absolutemento. What say we check out the pizza situation?"

Leonardo "Wait a minute."

[He points at the TV. Bebop is running down a hall, trips, and drops something into a drainage grate. Leonardo uses the remote to reverse the scene.]

Donatello "Come on, Leonardo."

Leonardo "Look."

[He plays it again in slow motion so they all see the small device that Bebop drops.]

April "What was that?"

Donatello "Well, it looked like an advanced wave modulator I've read about. And if Krang gets his tentacles on that, we can kiss this planet goodbye."

Leonardo "That grate leads to the sewer line. Come on. We'd better find it before they come back for it."

Splinter "And what will you do, April?"

April "I have to get back to work. There's a staff meeting this afternoon."

Splinter "When left to his own devices, the wise man entertains himself as best he can."

[In the Technodrome, Shredder signals to one of his Foot soldier robots.]

Shredder "You, come here."

Krang "What's its code designation?"

[Shredder lifts its shirt to read the number stamped on the front panel.]

Shredder "Alpha-1. Have a seat, Alpha-1.
[The robot sits in the brain-wave chair.]

You're about to make robot history. Assuming this thing doesn't make fried noodles out of your circuitry.
"

[Bebop and Rocksteady are inside their bedroom in the Technodrome.]

Rocksteady "Gee, the boss fired us.  I feel like such a failure."

Bebop "Oh, not me. I feel like I'm at a career crossroads. I'm gonna play a game of Mr. Quest while I decide what to do with my life."

Rocksteady "Hey, Krang doesn't like us to play with that. He said the power line can cause a short-circuit."

Bebop "Who cares? I'm a free agent now."

[Shredder places a box shaped device over the Foot robot’s head.]

Shredder "Let 'er rip, Krang."

Krang "I just know I'm going to regret this.
[He throws a switch and electricity begins crackling.]

I'm getting a power fluctuation!
"

Shredder "We gotta stop it before..."

[The control panel explodes and black smoke fills the room. On the TV screen, one game character shoots another and then the TV explodes. Both Bebop and Rocksteady yell as they are blown over backwards.]

Bebop "They sure made these games realistic."

[Inside the lab, both Shredder and Krang are coughing. A deep male voice addresses them.]

Alpha-1 "The discomfort is caused by temporary lung irritation. You will both be all right."

Krang "Who...Who said that?"

Shredder "The brain enhancer. It must've overloaded!"

Alpha-1 "My ratiocinative abilities have been increased to the 97th power. My intellectual capacity is virtually without limit."

Shredder "What'd he say?"

Krang "He said he's smart."

Alpha-1 "I have the combined brain capacity of four thousand sentient species. It gives me a headache just thinking down to your level."

Shredder "Excellent! With a super-genius like this on our side, we will have no trouble defeating the turtles."

Alpha-1 "What do you mean “we”, tin-head?"

Krang "I beg your pardon."

Alpha-1 "You two are obviously my intellectual inferiors. Why should I help you?"

Krang "Because we want to conquer Earth."

Alpha-1 "Sounds like a good idea. I'll do it...without you."

Shredder "Hold it, big-brain! No Foot soldier smarts off to me and gets away with it."

[He makes several attempts to punch Alpha-1, but the robot easily dodges him.]

Alpha-1 "My reflexes have been augmented along with my intellect."

[Shredder leaps up to kick him, but Alpha-1 jumps aside. Shredder crashes into some wires and becomes entangled.]

Alpha-1 "You cannot stop me."

[Alpha-1 runs out of the room. Grunting and groaning, Shredder manages to cut the wires and free himself.]

Krang "I've traced the source of the power surge. It came from Rocksteady and Bebop's room."

Shredder "I'm going to dip those two in mutagen and turn them into wombats!"

[On Earth, the turtles are traversing the sewer tunnels.]

Leonardo "Okay, so we're under the electronics plant that Shredder's goons robbed, but I don't see the watchamacallit."

Donatello "Never fear. If we're within a hundred feet of the wave modulator, this tracking device will find it."

Michelangelo "We just gotta find it. It can't be lost."

Raphael "Hey, you seem to have a personal interest in this wave modulator, Michelangelo."

Michelangelo "For sure, dude. I 'll bet you can tune up some really primo surfing curls with it.
[His brothers all slap a hand to their faces.]

Was it something I said?
"

[Meanwhile, Alpha-1 watches a group of Foot soldier robots working on machinery. He steps forward and touches his head, sending out his brain waves at them. Back in the lab, Shredder is issuing orders to other Foot soldiers.]

Shredder "Find Alpha-1 and bring him to me.
[They start to leave when the brain waves hit them and both turn on Shredder. He backs away.]

Not me, you metal moron.
[He reaches the door, but it slides open to reveal Alpha-1 with dozens of Foot robots behind him. Shredder runs into the control room.]

Krang, the Foot soldiers are revolting!
"

Krang "You're telling me?
[The door crashes open and Alpha-1 and his army enter.]

Well, here's another fine mess you've gotten us into!
"

Alpha-1 "Put them in one of the escape pods and eject them from the Technodrome."

[The Foot robots shove them into an escape pod.]

Krang "Stop! Why are you doing this?"

Alpha-1 "I intend to banish all organic life-forms on Earth to Dimension X. We robots will rule the world."

Shredder "Wait, wait. We can negotiate. We'll give you New Jersey."

Alpha-1 "There can be no negotiation.
[He shoots the escape pod into Dimension X space.]

Today the Technodrome, tomorrow the world.
"

[Bebop, Rocksteady exclaim as Foot robots drag them in front of Alpha-1.]

Bebop "Hey, what's going on here?"

Alpha-1 "Launch them into Dimension X."

Bebop "Wait, uh, how's about we work for you guys?"

Rocksteady "Yeah. We'll be real professionals."

Bebop "Uh-huh. We won't foul up like when we was sent to get the wave modulator."

Alpha-1 "An advanced wave modulator? Do you know where it is?"

Bebop "Well, uh, yeah. Uh, sure."

Rocksteady "It's on Earth. We can lead youse right to it."

Alpha-1 "A wave modulator would come in very handy in my conquest of Earth. Very well. You will come with us to Earth."

[Both mutants sigh in relief. In the sewers, Donatello gets a beep on his tracking device. He reaches into the water and grabs the modulator.]

Donatello "Here it is."

[A bright light flashes overhead. Bebop and Rocksteady fall through a portal and both land in the water.]

Raphael "These guys again? This is getting real old."

[Alpha-1 and several Foot soldier robots also jump through the portal.]

Alpha-1 "Attack."

Leonardo "Okay, but remember, turtles fight with honor!"

[The robots advance on the turtles, who have pulled their weapons.]

Michelangelo "Back off, bolt-breath!
[He swings his turtle line at a robot, who catches it, spins Michelangelo around, and throws him against a wall.]

Whoa! What a ride!
"

[Leonardo lifts and crosses his swords just as a robot shoots a laser blast at him. The blast deflects off the swords, hits and breaks open an overhead pipe, which spills water onto the turtle.]

Leonardo "Whoa-oa!"

[Raphael jumps up and grabs an overhead pipe, swinging out of the way as two robots try to grab him.]

Raphael "Hah!
[The pipe creaks and breaks, dropping him at the robot’s feet.]

Whoa-oa! Oof! This wasn't in the script.
"

[Alpha-1 advances on Donatello.]

Alpha-1 "Give me the modulator, you disgusting organism. Fire, now."

[A Foot robot fires at an overhead pipe, bouncing the laser blast off of another pipe and down behind Donatello’s back. He is holding the modulator behind him and the blast hits it, making it so hot that Donatello has to toss it away.]

Donatello "Whoa!"

[Alpha-1 catches the modulator.]

Bebop "How'd you do that?"

Alpha-1 "I simply calculated the rebound trajectory of the laser beam. Foot soldiers, retreat."

[Alpha-1 and his Foot soldiers enter a portal, but when Bebop and Rocksteady try to enter, they are both knocked to the ground.]

Rocksteady "Hey, what's the big idea?"

Alpha-1 "Sorry, no mutants allowed."

Bebop "Well, of all the nerve. Now we're stranded here."

Rocksteady "That's not our only problem."

Bebop "Uh, hi, guys."

Leonardo "All right, you two, who was that Foot soldier?"

Michelangelo "He seemed like a real take-charge dude, for a robot."

Rocksteady "His name's Alpha-1,and he's taken over the Technodrome, and he got rid of Krang and Shredder right after Shredder got rid of us."

Raphael "That doesn't sound good."

Michelangelo "I kind of like the part about getting rid of Krang and Shredder, though."

Donatello "If he's as smart as he seems to be, there's no limit to what he could do with that wave modulator."

Michelangelo "Yeah, and he's probably not planning to build a really high-tech pizza maker with it either."

[Shredder and Krang, inside the escape pod, plummet through Dimension X.]

Shredder "It's no use. They deactivated the power cells. We're running on empty."

Krang "Swell. So we wind up spending eternity cooped up in this teeny life pod."

Shredder "Why don't you jettison your android body? That would give us more room."

Krang "Why don't you jettison your head? It's the most useless object in here!"

[A port opens atop a building in New York City. Alpha-1 and his Foot soldiers step out, starting the tourists.]

Female Tourist "Hey, this wasn't in the tour package."

Alpha-1 "Silence, pitiful life-forms. Send them through the portal."

[The people exclaim as the Foot soldiers force them through the portal into the Technodrome.]

Male Tourist "Wow, this'll sure impress the folks back in Lone Bend."

[He begins taking pictures.]

Alpha-1 "Here I shall build my dimensional displacement device and use it to send all organic life in this city to Dimension X."

[In the sewers, the turtles are tying Bebop and Rocksteady’s hands behind their backs.]

Bebop "Don't turn us over to the cops, guys. Please?"

Rocksteady "Let us come with you."

Bebop "We can help."

Rocksteady "Our only chance of getting our old room back is if we help put the lid on Alpha-1."

Leonardo "What do you think, guys?"

Raphael "Well, personally, I trust them about as far as I can shot-put a planet."

Donatello "Yeah, but they know more about the foot soldiers than we do."

Michelangelo "I hate to say it, dudes, but they might come in handy, you know?"

[Leonardo’s turtlecom beeps.]

Leonardo "Leonardo here. What's up, April?"

April "Just thought you guys would like to know that the Eidelman building has been taken over by Foot soldiers. I'm getting ready to head over there with a remote crew right now."

Leonardo "Thanks, April. Sounds like our boy. Let's go!"

Rocksteady "Let's go."

Leonardo "Okay, no funny business, you promise?"

Both "We promise."

Raphael "Good, 'cause you're staying here."

[Atop the Eidelman building, the Foot soldiers have put the device together.]

Alpha-1 "The displacement device is ready. Now to test it."

[He plugs in the wave modulator and begins firing the device. Cut to the Channel 6 news building.]

Burne Thompson "Vernon, you and April have a story to cover. Go, go, go, go, go."

Vernon "Yes, sir. Just watch me disappear."

[The displacement laser blast hits Thompson, Vernon, and Irma. They reappear in the Technodrome. Irma screams and jumps into Vernon’s arm. Foot soldiers appear and Vernon drops Irma in order to leap into Thompson’s arms.]

Thompson "Vernon!"

[Back at Channel 6...]

April "Holy mackerel! They disappeared! I've gotta find the turtles. Maybe they know what's causing this."

[Alpha-1 celebrates.]

Alpha-1 "It works perfectly. Now to start teleporting all organic life to Dimension X."

[Alpha-1 begins firing at people and animals in the city. They are all transported to the Technodrome, which begins to fill up. Raphael lifts a manhole cover up and the turtles peek through to see people disappearing.]

Raphael "What's going on?"

Michelangelo "Whoa. Looks like a radical solution to overpopulation to me."

Donatello "They're being teleported out of this dimension!"

Leonardo "And I think I know who's responsible. Come on!"

[They begin to run. Behind them, Rocksteady and Bebop peer up through the manhole.]

Rocksteady "Hey, turtles, wait for us!"

Raphael "You guys just won't take “no” for an answer."

[The two mutants, still tied, climb out of the sewers and follow the turtles.]

Donatello "Look, up there."

Alpha-1 "The Turtles. I must dispose of them quickly."

[He points the device at them.]

Michelangelo "Uh-oh. Don't look now, guys, but maybe we oughta change our name to the Teenage Mutant Sitting Ducks!"

[Alpha-1 fires, but the turtles, Bebop, and Rocksteady dodge the blasts.]

Leonardo "Quick, get inside!"

April "I thought I saw the turtles here, but they're gone!
[She screams as Leonardo yanks her off the sidewalk just before a blast nearly gets her.]

  There you are.
[She spots Bebop and Rocksteady.]

What are they doing here?
"

Leonardo "It's a long story."

April "Burne, Vernon and Irma just got hit by some kind of ray. They disappeared!"

Rocksteady "They probably was sent to Dimension X."

Bebop "That Alpha-1 wants to send everybody there."

Michelangelo "Yeah, well, it looks like he's off to a great start."

[Through the door they can see people being hit by the blasts.]

Leonardo "Any way you can reverse that effect with your portal back in the sewer, Donatello?"

Donatello "Oh, give me a break. I can't even send something into the next room with that thing."

Leonardo "Let's get to the roof and reverse that machine ourselves."

[They try the elevator but it doesn’t work.]

Raphael "What a surprise. They shut down the elevators."

Leonardo "We'll have to take the stairs."

April "This'll make a great story! Assuming there's anybody left around to see it."

[They begin to run up the stairs. Meanwhile, the interior of the Technodrome is becoming crowded.]

Irma "We've gotta get back to Earth. All my favorite prime-time soaps are on tonight."

Thompson "You're a technical kind of guy. Push a button or something."

Vernon "Well, all right."

[He walks over to a console and presses a button. A round object lowers and a beam activates. It picks Thompson up and he sticks to the object.]

Thompson "Get me down!"

Vernon "Uh, right away, sir.
[He presses another button and the object drops Thompson.]

Sorry about that, Chief.
"

[Cut to the escape pod.]

Krang "Here's the latest weather report, in case you're interested."

Shredder "What now?"

Krang "We're headed straight for a plasma storm!"

Shredder "What a revolting development this is."

Krang "Actually, it's good news."

Shredder "Oh, really? And how do you figure that?"

Krang "There's a one-in-a-million chance that the storm will recharge the power cells. If so, we'll be able to return to the Technodrome! Of course, there's a far greater chance that we'll simply deep-fry to a cinder."

Shredder "I hope you go first so I can watch."

[They fly towards the plasma storm. Back on Earth, the turtles and group are still racing up the stairs.]

Rocksteady "How many...more floors...we gotta go?"

Donatello "Oh, about twenty."

[Rocksteady and Bebop pause on the landing, both gasping. Rocksteady then continues on.]

Bebop "Let 'em just take over the world. It's not worth it."

Michelangelo "Hey, look on the bright side. At least we haven't run into any Foot soldiers."

[Laser blasts hit the stairs in front of the group. April, Rocksteady and three of the turtles tumble down to the landing below.]

Raphael "I hate it when that happens."

[Foot soldiers continue firing at them. The group rolls aside. A blast hits the ropes on Rocksteady’s wrists, freeing him.]

April "Doesn't anybody have a plan?"

Raphael "Uh, we'll get back to you."

[Rocksteady grabs the metal railing and rips it loose, then he gives it a hard shake. The railing ripples upwards and then circles the two Foot soldiers, trapping them.]

Leonardo "I never thought I'd say this, but I owe you one, Rocksteady."

Rocksteady "How about you leave us untied, and we'll call it even."

Donatello "We may need their help against all those Foot soldiers."

[The escape pod enters the plasma storm.]

Krang "Hang on. It's going to be a bumpy ride."

[They both shout as lightning bolts hit all around them. One hits the escape pod and lights begin flashing. The escape pod finally spins out of the storm.]

Krang "Our power cells are charged to full capacity!"

Shredder "So are the fillings in my teeth."

Krang "Next stop--the Technodrome."

[The rockets blast-off. On Earth, Alpha-1 is still firing at citizens. The rooftop door bursts open behind the Foot.]

Turtles "Turtle power!"

[Foot soldiers fire at them. Leonardo uses his swords to deflect their blasts.]

Leonardo "Rocksteady, Bebop, stop Alpha-1!"

[Alpha-1 presses buttons and the displacement device spins around towards them. Both stop and lift their hands.]

Bebop "We give up."

Rocksteady "Ditto."

Michelangelo "Hey, zoo-face, I thought you were on our side."

Bebop "We was...once."

Rocksteady "Yeah, but then he convinced us to join his side."

Alpha-1 "Prepare yourselves for dimensional displacement."

Michelangelo "I hear Dimension X is lovely at this time of year."

[Shredder and Krang have returned to the Technodrome.]

Shredder "When I get my hands on Alpha-1, I'm going to make a toaster out of him!"

[The door to the control room slides open and they see crowds of people milling around.]

Krang "Well, well. Our invitation must've been lost in the mail."

[A group of Foot soldiers run towards them. Krang pushes a button and the soldiers are zapped. They all fall to the floor.]

Shredder "You've deactivated them."

Krang "Yes. Now let's get rid of these unwelcome guests.
[He opens the portal.]

All right, everybody out.
"

[As Alpha-1 prepares to fire, the portal opens onto the roof and the people come running out.]

Alpha-1 "What?"

[Donatello races to the displacement device while Alpha-1 is distracted. Opening a panel, he removes the wave modulator and the device powers down. Alpha-1 starts pressing buttons, but sparks fly from the panel. Donatello strikes the front of the device and it spins around so that it is pointing at Alpha-1.]

Alpha-1 "No! It's short-circuiting! There's no telling what dimension it will send me to!"

[He screams as a blast hits him. Alpha-1 vanishes. The Foot soldiers all fall over. Donatello plugs in the wave modulator and aims the device at Bebop and Rocksteady.]

Donatello "Next stop, Dimension X for you guys.
[He blasts them, then the device begins sparking again.]

Uh-oh. I think I overloaded it.
"

Michelangelo "So, like, what's that mean?"

Donatello "It means... run!"

[The portal is still open and releasing people onto the roof. Thompson runs out.]

Thompson "There you are, April. Got a spectacular story for you."

April "Later, Burne! Later!"

Donatello "Yeah. This whole roof's about to go up in the biggest blast since Michelangelo's last birthday party."

[They all make it to the stairs and the machine blows apart. Bebop and Rocksteady appear inside the Technodrome.]

Krang "You two? I thought I'd gotten rid of all the riffraff."

Rocksteady "Oh, please, boss, give us our old jobs back."

Bebop "Yeah. It was us who took care of Alpha-1 for you. Them turtles had nothing to do with it."

Shredder "I'm probably going to regret this, but at least I know you two klutzes won't fire us off into space. Very well, you're re-hired."

Rocksteady "Gee, thanks, boss. You won't regret it."

[He goes to embrace Shredder, but trips over Bebop and falls on Shredder instead. Krang laughs as Shredder groans.]

Shredder "It's so hard to find good help these days."

[Back in the lair, the turtles, minus Donatello, and April enjoy a pizza.]

Leonardo "Boy, if that wasn't weird--us on the same side with Rocksteady and Bebop."

Raphael "Yeah, they were nice guys for about, what, two seconds?"

Michelangelo "Well, I'm just glad that bogus robot's gone."

[A deep voice startles them.]

Voice "You are my prisoner, Earthling."

Leonardo "That sounds like Alpha-1!"

Michelangelo "Don't tell me that creep-azoid's back."

[They race into the next room.]

Raphael "Looks like Donatello's portal opened."

[On the portal’s screen, a woman is terrorized by a robot.]

Donatello "Oh, hi, guys. I never did get the portal working right. But with a cable hook-up, it makes a great wide-screen TV."

[They all sit down with him to watch the show.]

[End Credits]
