The Final Lesson is a storybook written by Astrid Holm, with illustrations by Francese Mateu, and published in 1990 by Random House. It was also accompanied by an audiocassette.[1][2] The story retells the 1990 film, with the art style of the 1987 cartoon.
Plot[]
Splinter has been kidnapped by Shredder and his gang, and the Turtles set out to find him. After a fight with Shredder's gang, the Turtles recover at April's rural farmhouse, practicing and meditating before deciding to go back searching for Splinter.

The book was translated from English into Swedish. Retitled "Den sista sanningen" ("The Final Truth"), it was published in 1991 by Winther.[3][4]
