- Shredder has stolen some Capsidium crystals and plans to generate an energy flow from planetry light to power the Technodrome. Thanks to some help from Zach, a 12 year old boy who longs to become a hero in a half shell, Shredder's evil aspirations are brought to a halt.

- Whilst covering a news story on the city's rat problem April O'Neil is kidnapped by the Rat King. A rescue attempt goes badly wrong when Splinter's mind is mesmerised by the Rat King. Splinter must overcome this powerful spell and together with the Turtles put the Rat King and his minions out of action.
