The Death Dragon is a martial arts technique used by the Shredder in the 2012 TV series. He taught it to his number one student, Chris Bradford. In the episode New Friend, Old Enemy, Michelangelo, who was a fan of Bradford's, became acquainted with him, trying to form a friendship with his idol. Bradford showed the Death Dragon to Mikey, who went home and taught it to his brothers. When Splinter walked in on his sons practicing the technique, he immediately recognized it as the same technique his former Hamato Clan brother Oroku Saki used against him in battle, and was convinced that the person who taught it to Michelangelo must be a student of the Shredder.
