Summary[]
Open on Burnow Island. Captain Tragg and Sergeant Granitor are in their individual prison cells. Granitor and Tragg have both heard explosions and Tragg guesses that someone else is pushing back against Colonel Ch’rell. Granitor believes Ch’rell’s agenda is nothing new, that he and General Krang have always bumped heads. Tragg says he won’t stand for being left in prison to rot. Their conversation is interrupted by Krang, whose arrival surprises them. He tells them the sounds they are hearing are the diversion the three of them need.
New York City. Madame Null rides in her limousine with Krisa and Zodi. She tells the mutant pair that she expected to be double-crossed, but is displeased with the stupidity and cowardice shown by her teammates. Krang and Stockman have shown incompetence and Null says it is time to walk away from Rat King’s little game. Her involvement has been exposed and the fallout will only get worse. Null says they will cut their losses and get off the planet in order to regroup. When the time is right, they will reengage, because she will never give up on her plan to corner the interdimensional mutant slave trade. For now, they will return to Dimension Z and leave Rat King and the others to deal with the damage control.
Suddenly, the limousine is hit by a blast that flips the vehicle over. Null, Krisa and Zodi crawl out and looks up to see that the blast came from Cherubae, who is accompanied by Old Hob, Raphael and Leonardo.
Elsewhere, Mayor Stockman arrives in his limousine at City Hall. Sergeant Winter opens the door of the vehicle for the Mayor and then Stockman turns to Colonel Knight. Stockman informs him that he no longer requires Darkwater’s services. He tells him to gather his troops and equipment and vacate the premises immediately. His assistant, Zara, will wire all monies owed them by the day’s end. Knight tries to say something, but Stockman cuts him off with a brusque goodbye. After he’s gone, Knight turns to Winter and says that it looks like there is some serious intel he needs to be caught up on.
Back to Burnow Island. Donatello has just been informed that both Krang and Ch’rell are dead. Seri assures him that it is true and Ch’rell was vanquished by her hand, wielding her mother’s horn. Luna Azul says that they were informed by Lieutenant Kleve that Krang was killed prior to their arrival on the island. Don then asks where Kleve and Montuoro are now. Ma'riell relays that Montuoro was killed in the battle and that Kleve is incarcerated. Once the situation is sorted out, they’ll decide how he will be officially charged and where he will be tried for his crimes. Don expresses his sympathy for her loss of Ch’rell because no matter what he did, he was still her family. Ma’riell agrees that his death stings, as do the deaths of so many others, but if they had succeeded her pain would have been shared on a far greater scale. Michelangelo says that thanks to Cudley they got there fast, but not fast enough to help out.
Cudley greets the Nova Posse and jokingly asks if Exeen is still working to control her short temper. Exeen replies yes to working, but no to controlling. Zebulon gives her points for honesty. Rave turns to Mikey and says if there’s anyone who’s more popular in Dimension X and beyond than the Turtles, it’s the trans-dimensional Cowlick. Mikey replies that he puts the “Cow” in “Cowabunga” and Don just groans at his quip. Ma’riell suddenly receives a communication from technical specialist Leeshawn. When Ma’riell asks how she can help, Leeshawn says that he and his team encountered a major problem while trying to reestablish control of the main command systems. Someone is attempting to hack into the Technodrome’s main firing systems. Cut to Krang and the two, now free, Stone Soldiers. They are in a control station, with Tragg and Granitor standing guard as Krang attempts find the code that will unlock the firing sequence. Outside, Luna quips that it appears Cudley did get Mikey here on time. She tells Seri to remain with Ma’riell and protect her. Then Mikey, Don and the Nova Posse storm the Technodrome.
Midtown Manhattan. Cherubae tells Null that she is finished, just like her cousin on Hirobyl. Null demands to know what they’ve done to Noi Tai Dar and Leo informs her that they put him in a cage after freeing the Four Winds. Cherubae adds that they returned to the Eden Worlds and balance will soon be restored. Old Hob turns to Raph and says he’s not there to listen to speeches and Raph agrees. He charges and Hob opens fire. Null leaps out of the way of the bullets, but directly into Raph’s path. Raph comes down at her with both sai ready to strike, when he’s slapped out of the air by Zodi’s tail. Krisa likewise uses her tail to sweep Hob’s feet out from under him. Both then move in front of Null to protect her. Cherubae asks Leo if his allies are always this impertinent, referring to Hob and Raph. Leo answers in the affirmative.
As Leo races straight at Null, she calls to Zodi, who blocks his path with her tail. He strikes the hard exoskeleton with his katanas without doing any damage and Zodi grins at him, saying she’s been looking forward to their fight. Leo tells her to be careful what she wishes for. Cherubae and Null face off. Cherubae tells her she’s through but Null opens fire, which makes Cherubae blast at her with her powers. A bullet from Null’s gun strikes Cherubae’s arm. Raph takes on Zodi, and he manages to sink one of his sai into her tail. She admits it hurts, but swings her stinger right at his face, saying hers kills. Before it can hit Raph, Leo jumps and slices into the segment of her tail connected to the stinger, chopping it clean off.
Krisa tries to rush to Zodi, but Hob sticks both of his guns in her face, stopping her. The fight between Cherubae and Null continues. Cherubae zaps the gun out of Null’s hand, then lifts and slams her against a wall. Null calls her a fool and grips Cherubae’s throat, beginning to draw out her life force. As Cherubae begins to shrivel, Hob opens fire with a rifle, blasting Null in the back. Hob says he hates that “red chick”, but then Null rises, reminding him that bullets can’t kill her. She starts back towards Cherubae, but then Krisa shouts “No more!”. Krisa wraps her tail around Null’s body and squeezes. Raph wonders if Krisa is killing Null and Leo says they should stop it, but Cherubae rises and says no, that Null should die. Krisa tells them she’s not killing Null, just putting her to sleep, because she can’t let Null hurt anyone ever again. Zodi wants to know what Krisa is doing. Krisa tells her she’s taking initiative – thinking for herself and for the two of them. She reaches out a hand to Zodi, who takes it as Krisa says they don’t have to be Null’s slaves anymore, that they are free.
Inside the Technodrome, Krang continues his attempts to access the firing sequence. Tragg and Granitor tells him they are honored to protect him, but Krang won’t be happy until the Technodrome is functional and fully under his control again. Metalhead speaks after successfully accessing the firing sequence and asks how to proceed. Krang tells his host that they will proceed as he sees fit, but he’s changed his mind about Earth becoming his new Utrominon. Tragg wants to know what he means and Krang answers that he’s going to burn the planet to cinders, crush every traitor and then teleport the few remaining loyalist away from this dimension forever. Metalhead’s finger hovers over a large orange button and Krang says it all begins with a simple push of a button.
Before he can push the button, the wall behind him explodes, sending the Stone Soldiers and Krang flying. The three villains look up to see the Nova Posse and Turtles. Krang shouts to kill them and begins firing Metalheads weapons while Tragg and Granitor open fire as well. Everyone ducks for cover and Mikey asks Don if he knew Krang was dressing like Metalhead now. Don replies that he didn’t even know Krang was still alive until two minutes ago and that from what he can see, Krang’s not dressing like Metalhead, he is Metalhead. Luna issues orders: Grotto and Exeen are to go after the Stone Soldiers while Trip and Zebulon watch the rear so that if anyone gets past them, those two can fry them. Luna turns to Rave and says they have a party to attend. Rave displays his two guns and says he brought the party favors.
The Nova Posse bursts into action. Mikey tells Don that the Posse has a plan and what about them. Don instructs Mikey to help take out the Stone Soldiers because he’s going after Metalhead and his new pink belly button, but he needs to make a call first. Rave and Luna fire on Krang, telling him he’s outnumbered and outgunned. Krang laughs, saying their guns don’t matter to MetalKrang as he blasts them, throwing both Posse members back. Then Metalhead poses a query as to how to proceed. Krang says to forget the attackers; activate the teleporter and set the Technodrome for complete global annihilation. Grotto strikes Tragg a hard blow, but Granitor shoots Grotto in the shoulder from behind. Angered, Exeen slices Granitor’s weapon in half. Tragg calls her a four-armed pain and prepares to shoot her, but Mikey tosses his turtle line, which wraps around the Stone Soldier. He tells Tragg that it’s not nice to call people names and Exeen agrees it’s not nice – ugly rock person.
At the control panel, Krang is urging Metalhead to type faster, before the Nova Posse recovers. Rave and Luna rise, assuring each other that they’re okay and then Luna notices the teleporter is engaging. Metalhead warns that the teleporter has activated, but Krang says that’s exactly what they wanted. However, Metalhead states that the teleporter was activated by external source and that entities are incoming. A shocked Krang turns as a familiar voice informs him that he’s been found guilty of war crimes across multiple dimensions. It is the Neutrinos, led by King Zenter and accompanied by Zayton Honeycutt, Harold Lilja and Libby Meitner. They blast MetalKrang, who collapses to his knees. Metalhead initiates a symbiotic analysis, which indicates zero percent life functions from the parasitic element.
Don calls out that it’s not just the parasite, startling Metalhead who starts to turn. Donatello leaps on him and drives his bō through Metalhead’s back and all the way through to the front. Metalhead collapses and Don says he’s sorry. King Zenter tells Don that his empathy is commendable and he should know that he did what needed to be done, as he should have, long ago. Mikey asks how they knew to get there and King Zenter says that science advisor Ma’riell contacted them, just after Don contacted her and asked that she do so. Harold crosses his arm and remarks snidely that it’s the same old Earth and same old Turtle mess. Don tells Harold that it's good to see him again too. Then Don says that speaking of messes, they still have a lot of cleaning up to do.
The Thin Places. Oroku Saki approaches Kitsune’s resting place and announces his presence. He places a scroll on her stomach and tells her he’s completed all the instructions she left for him before she retired to this place. Then he says that he needs to know what he must do next. Kitsune tells him to call the sons and daughter of Hamato Yoshi to her now. They are nearing the endgame.. her eyes snap open as she adds that her brother grows impatient.
