The Termite-Nators are a foursome of mutated termites. Each is at a various stage of their life cycle: larvae, soldier, alate (winged), and king.

A Termite-y Headache[]
During a game of tag at the O'Neil Farm, Casey Jones accidentally trips over a termite mound. Four termites attach to his leg and he discovers them when his leg starts to itch. He knocks them off his leg and then swats at them when they fly up towards his face. Then everyone but Donatello go inside to watch television. Don joins them after going to the barn to set up an experiment with mutagen he found in the spaceship under the house. After leaving a batch of mutagen simmering over low heat in a beaker, Don leaves the barn. Soon the mutagen starts bubbling up and then a blob of it pops out of the beaker and lands on top of the four termites.
All four termites mutate rapidly, becoming human-sized. The mutation has also given them the ability to speak. Angry about the uncaring people who live at the farm, they break through the side of the barn and then attack the Turtles when they come out to investigate the sound. Michelangelo names them "Termite-Nators". Raphael tries hitting the king, but learns that striking his exoskeleton is like hitting solid rock. The Turtles quickly find out that the Termite-Nators are very strong. During a conversation with the king, Leonardo learns that they are angry about the termite mound being destroyed. Leo tries to explain that it was an accident, but the king says it's because they don't care what's under their feet. Then Leo draws his attention to the fact that the king as just stepped on the mound. The king realizes that accidents can happen and that they were too hasty in their attack. All four Termite-Nators work together to repair the barn before heading into the woods.
