The Teleportal is a device used in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus.
Appearances[]
Console[]
A similar Teleportal or Transmat is used by the Turtles to escape Planet Zero. Professor Honeycutt's Teleportal is seen in cutscenes and plays out in an identical manner as the TV series' counterpart.
Game Boy Advance[]
In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, the Teleportal is used by the Fugitoid, housed inside an unknown home base. When the Turtles arrive to protect the Professor from both Federation and Triceraton forces, the Professor escapes with his new friends and informs them that his Teleportal will be able to send the Turtles home, but many Crystals are needed to power up the device for such a long distance travel back to Earth. The Teleportal on its own current power is able to teleport the Turtles to short range distances however, which is used as the Turtles travel through many regions of Federation and Triceraton controlled areas.
Back on Earth, The Shredder is revealed to have used a Transmat device to teleport the Turtles far across the Galaxy. Baxter Stockman confirms their existence off Earth but notes that he detects similar Transmat energy where the Turtles got teleported at. To avoid an angry Shredder, Stockman is able to remote hack into the Teleportal's signals so that if a Turtle ends up using the Teleportal, their weapon will be teleported somewhere else. This forces the turtles to locate their weapons as the travel using the Teleportal.
After clearing the first three stages and gaining enough Crystals, the turtles return to Honeycutt's lab when suddenly the Teleportal's alarm goes off. The Professor notes that someone is trying to remote access the Teleportal. A hologram from the Teleportal reveals the one sending the signal: an Utrom named Mortu. He explains the Turtles' situation of why they were teleported, with Splinter by Mortu's side. Splinter requested Mortu's help after the Turtles vanished. Amazed, Honeycutt introduces himself to Mortu and the two are able to come with a solution to help the Turtles return home. They hook the Teleportal to allow access to the Utrom memory banks so that the Turtles can teleport inside a Feudal Japan to obtain enough more crystals, enough to power up the Teleportal further for long distance travelling. Shredder realizes that his plan has been uncovered and sends Stockman on a sabotage mission to which he hacks the Teleportal once more in a way that can harm the Turtles during their travels in the virtual lands.
The Turtles prove successful in their mission and both Mortu and the Professor are able to power the Teleportal enough to send the Turtles back home into their lair. Unfortunately, a massive feedback of energy engulfs the professor, and just before the Teleportal explodes along with his lab, the energy causes the Professor to be teleported along with the Turtles to Earth. Both he and the Turtles meet with Mortu and the Turtles gather further crystals inside the TCRI building in order to confront Shredder. The turtles battle Stockman, who holds ten Crystals, and once the Turtles defeat him and collect enough total Crystals on Earth, they chase down Stockman's head to a room housing a Teleportal. After defeating Spider Stockman, the Turtles use the Crystal power to activate the Teleportal in the room to reach Shredder, who has a Teleportal active within the room he is fought in. His Teleportal is caught in the building's implosion.
