Gameplay[]
Players' characters run away from the screen, and are tasked with dodging obstacles while collecting orbs. There are two types of orbs in each level, and the player loses approximately half of their orbs if they collide with an obstacle. If either of the orb counters reaches zero and the player collides with another obstacle, the game is over. However, after either a successful or unsuccessful run, the player may choose to move on to the next stage. There are three stages in total.

TMNT x Hello Kitty and Friends features two accessibility options: closed captions, which has text at the bottom of the screen describing each of the sound effects played, and an option that reads off all of the game's imagery with an automated voice.
