Synopsis[]
Two women, Gina and Em, have a picnic in Central Park. They are suddenly approached and attacked by a gang of "vampires". Gina manages to get away by kicking one in the crotch, but Em is swarmed and bitten multiple times. Gina runs for help and manages to get the attention of a mounted officer while another cop cares for Gina. The horse and officer arrive to find Em dead.
Nearby in the lake, Michelangelo swims by another, regular turtle. He surfaces to find Raphael pouring all of his grief and rage into over-excessively chopping wood. Leonardo places the last of the wood needed onto Splinter's bier, and they go off in search of the other mourners, wondering where Donatello is.
After they walk off, Don appears and takes a snip of Splinter's fur, asking for his master's forgiveness.
The rest of the mourners gather and the Turtles take Splinter's bier and carry it through the park, with the others following them. They place Splinter in a raft and swim him far out into the lake. As they return to shore, Radical arrives and expresses her condolences to Leo.
Leo gives a brief eulogy for his father, then loads a bow with an arrow tipped with a flaming arrow. Suddenly, a figure appears in the sky, and the turtles, Metal Head, Casey, Honeycutt, Stephen, and Radical prepare to fight them. It turns out to be Renet, who asks permission to join the mourners. The turtles of course, accept. A mysterious robot with the symbol for pi (π) on its forehead says an equation to her as she takes her place, and Renet responds "Shh... later..." April is surprised to see Renet, and begins thinking of something in regards to her.
Leo fires the arrow into the bier and it lights on fire, burning the body. The mourners stand and watch. Raph points out to Don that Leatherhead is hidden among the reeds, and Don observes that he somehow knew to come.
After everyone else has dispersed, Leo stands alone and a single tear forms.
Elsewhere in the city, several Foot Ninja are running from somebody. They think they've lost them, but their pursuer - a mysterious warrior wielding a macuahuitl drops down from above and slays the lot of them, leaving odd triangle objects on their corpses.

Notes and trivia[]
- The anthropomorphic cat and robot with pi on its forehead in attendance to Splinter's funeral have not yet been identified. The equation the robot spits to Renet reads "(a)>π+(ce-b) πx(a+e)÷∞≈b>c ∞+b-d[∞]"
- Also in attendance to the funeral are Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
