Synopsis[]
The Turtles prepare for another fight as Henry accidently brings forth robots with his time gauntlet. One of the robots is tank-like, with arms and pincer hands as well a green ray blaster. The other is serpentine, with reddish blasters and tentacle arms.
Leonardo orders his brothers to spread out fast. He also says they have to stop the alien guy before he makes any more trouble. Leo and Michaelangelo take on the tank, while Raphael and Donatello battle the serpent. Leo chops off one of the tank’s arms, but the other arm grabs Mikey. Meanwhile, Raph stabs the serpent with his sai, but Don struggles to retrieve his bō from the serpent’s tentacles.
The battle rages on, with Don throwing his staff all the way through the tank and Leo and Raph teaming up to slash and stab the serpent. Leo yells for Raph to get back just before both robots explode. Leo compliments his brothers on a job well done. Raph is once more ready to stomp Henry.
Leo urges him to hold on so they can figure out what is happening, but Raph is determined to attack. Betti quickly intercedes to explain that Henry didn’t mean to cause trouble, that he is new at this time travel stuff. Raph is still angry, but Leo says they need to hear them out, since having dealt with Renet, they know time travel is tricky business.
Henry gives the Turtles a quick explanation and says that Florence and his apartment must have some sort of dimensional link. He says that’s why he and Betti showed up there. Henry explains that he doesn’t know enough about his time gauntlet to get them home safely. Leo finds it all confusing but tells Henry that Donatello is the science bug of the group and he might be able to help.
Henry happily accepts any assistance. Leo says they are lucky that with all the commotion the National Guard hasn’t shown up yet. In fact, they haven’t seen anyone at all since Henry and Betti showed up. Henry tells them that’s his fault too. The time gauntlet is an observation device and to avoid any temporal screw-ups it has a sort of freeze-frame effect. In fact, nothing will “unfreeze” until they leave.
A short time later, Don and Henry are examining the time gauntlet. Don acknowledges that it is a complicated piece of hardware. Meanwhile, a very happy Mike is showing Betti how to twirl his nunchaku. An hour later, Betti wants to know if they’ve figured the gauntlet out yet. Don is cursing to himself and Henry explains to her that they have to figure out the exact sequence to get them home.
Betti says that’s easy and the one she pushed is right there. As she says that, she presses the button. The air fills with a sparking sound and lights up. Leo tells everyone to be ready for anything and Betti apologizes. What comes through this time are a trio of samurai warriors, much to Raph’s annoyance.
