Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures! is a 1986 supplement for the roleplaying game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness. The book was written by Erick Wujcik and published in 1986 by Palladium Books.[1]

This supplement has several new adventures and includes rules for super-powered animals (referencing rules from Palladium's Heroes Unlimited). The new adventures in this supplement were designed specifically with the Ninja Turtles in mind, but do allow maximum flexibility, so other characters from outside the TMNT universe can be used.

The Setup[]

Though not front-page news, hints of a possible national crisis begin showing up in newspaper accounts of military maneuvers being conducted in the great plains. As the days progressed, the reports became important enough to garner more attention, including that of TV and radio stations. When confronted by the news media, officials from the police as well as politicians, the White House, and the Pentagon would only respond with "No Comment". After the first three days of this, they began issuing orders which were meant to prepare a number of cities across the country for evacuation.

A fight for more information ensued. Then a photographer witnessed an argument between the President and an ambassador to the Soviet Union. The pictures taken of the two, one of which showed the Ambassador returning to the embassy, became the subject of frenzied speculation.

The full story could not be hidden for much longer. Reports stated that an unknown terrorist group had taken control of one of America’s strategic missile command centers. Other tabloids, some of lesser repute, reported that it was "aliens from outer space", and that they'd taken over all of the U.S. military computers. These stories also stated that the goal was to exterminate humanity.

With the situation reaching a critical point and no indication that the government has made any attempt to retake the missile command center, the assumption is that the government is helpless. Therefore, it is up to unique creatures, mutant animals, ones with 'special' abilities and gifts, to provide a solution.
