Season 1 of the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series originally aired over Nickelodeon between 28 September 2012 and 8 September 2013.

The season depicts the Turtles saving April O'Neil from the Kraang and having their first battles with Shredder and the Foot Clan.

The final episodes, Showdown, sees the Turtles preventing a Kraang invasion of Earth and learning Splinter and Shredder's history.
