Trivia

  • In the firehouse, the Ghostbusters are shown to have both Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade machines in the background.
    • One of the games is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. In the real world, the arcade machine version was simply called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; the title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game was only used for the 1990 Nintendo Entertainment System port of that game to distinguish it from the different previously-released 1989 NES platformer game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
  • The cover of issue #4 contains multiple easter eggs:
    • There are cameos of characters resembling:
    • The police officer who resembles Li Yang is glancing in the direction of Michelangelo and Peter Venkman. In issue #3, upon arriving in Zoo Amsterdam, Venkman took off the outer layer of his clothes (his Ghostbusters uniform) and had Mikey put it on so he wouldn't appear naked in a world of anthropomorphic animals wearing clothes. But in the cover art, Mikey is naked, making it appear as if the police officer could be peeking.
