The Technodrome is a techno-organic spaceship utilized by the Krang in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles continuity.
History[]
When the Krang were trapped in a dimensional prison during the days of feudalism, the Technodrome went along with them. In present day, the Foot Clan recovered the keystone to the prison gate and brought forth the last three living Krang onto Earth. However, the gate was not wide enough at the time to accommodate the Technodrome. Krang One ordered his brother to widen the gate, but he was interrupted by Leonardo retrieving the keystone. Krang One attempted to attack Leo, but Raph stood in the way, becoming transformed into a Krang zombie.
After recovering the keystone, the Krang head to the top of Metro Tower to open another gate, this time succeeding in summoning the Technodrome. Krang Three worked the organic console deep inside the vessel; Michelangelo and Donatello pried him out of the console, and Don had Mikey take his Battle Shell off so he could meld with the console, temporarily becoming one with the Technodrome, until Krang One severed his connection.
The Technodrome was cut in two and destroyed when Casey pulled the keystone out the vessel partway inside the gate.
Trivia[]
- Unlike its previous versions, this version of the Technodrome is shown to be made almost entirely of bio-organic material instead of the standard alien technology.
