Techno Global Research Industries ("TGRI") is a research firm which is a focal point in the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Fifteen years prior, they accidentally created a mutagenic ooze and resorted to burying the existing canisters. However, on their way to bury them, a near-collision caused one of the canisters to be lost down the sewer, resulting in Splinter and the Turtles' mutation. In the present time, TGRI is forced to recover their canisters for proper disposal. After Splinter reveals that TGRI's logo is written on the canister of Ooze, the Ninja Turtles investigate their headquarters. There, they witness the intrusion of the Foot Clan, who kidnap TGRI employee Jordan Perry and steal the last canister of ooze. Following Perry's rescue, he predicted that TGRI would likely follow standard procedure in respond to the Foot Clan's attack by covering up all evidence of the ooze disposal and evacuating the premises.
