Tàijí Quán (太极拳) , known most commonly in English as simply tai chi, is a soft-style Chinese martial art. Initially a form of combat and self-defense, it has evolved into a sport and low-impact exercise, especially in the western world. Tai chi uses gentle, sweeping motions, meant to turn an opponent's energy and effort against them, and precise breathing, making it a form of meditation as well.

In Northampton, part 3 we see Raphael practicing Tai chi when Alopex comes upon him. She teases that he doesn't seem the Tai chi type, and he counters by asking if Tai chi isn't violent enough for the Foot.
The Last Ronin: Lost Years[]

While Casey is attempting to train four young, rambunctious Turtles, they start fighting with each other. Casey breaks up the fight and then tells them to get back into formation and for Yi to help her brother Odyn up. Yi does so, and then says it's time for Tai chi. Odyn complains that Tai chi is too hard. Already practicing, Uno brags that it's not too hard for him and calls Odyn "fatty". Defending Odyn, Moja attacks Uno.
