StockGen was a New York City-based scientific research company in the IDW Publishing version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

History[]

StockGen was a research company founded by Robert Stockman. The company was later usurped by his son Baxter, who would go on to secretly work with Krang.

It employed many scientists, including Chet Allen and Lindsey Baker as employees and April O'Neil as a college intern. It was the place where various animals were kept who would be secretly mutated, including Slash, Wingnut and Screwloose. Splinter and the Turtles were originally laboratory animals at StockGen, but mutated by accident outside the facility and escaped. Old Hob mutated at the same time, and became a StockGen specimen after mutation.

After arranging for Splinter to steal a stockpile of mutagen from the company, StockGen was destroyed with explosives by Old Hob.

A parallel universe version of StockGen is featured in the miniseries Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything, which is responsible for mutating a time-displaced Rocksteady and Bebop into Bopsteady.
